Mohamed Amin Jhinaoui (born 2 April 1997) is a Tunisian runner who specializes in the 3000 metres steeplechase. [1]
A member of the Athletic Club 96, in Bolzano, Italy he ran a new personal best time for the 3000m steeplechase of 8:18.43 in Rovereto in May 2022. [2] He lowered his personal best to 8:16.38 at the Diamond League event in Rome in June 2022. [3] He was selected for the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon. [4]
In July 2023, he ran a new personal best time of 8:12.19 at the Diamond League event in Paris. [5] He competed in the 3000 metres steeplechase at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest in August 2023, where he finished thirteenth in the final. [6]
He finished third in the 3000m steeplechase at the 2024 Diamond League event in Stockholm in June 2024. [7] He competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in the 3000 metres steeplechase, placing fourth in the final with a national record time of 8:07.73. [8]

The 3000 metres steeplechase or 3000-meter steeplechase is the most common distance for the steeplechase in track and field. It is an obstacle race over the distance of the 3000 metres, which derives its name from the horse racing steeplechase.
Evan Reese Jager is an American middle- and long-distance runner who specializes in the 3000 metres steeplechase. In his speciality event, he won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics and a bronze at the 2017 World Championships. Jager is the current NACAC area record holder in the event with a time of 8:00.45. He is sponsored by Nike and is coached by Jerry Schumacher of the Bowerman Track Club.
Karoline Bjerkeli Grøvdal is a Norwegian middle-, long-distance and steeplechase runner. She is a European Championships gold medallist in half marathon, silver medallist in 5000 metres and bronze medallist in 10,000 metres and 3000 metres steeplechase. Grøvdal is a four-time Olympian and represented Norway at the 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games.
