Mohammad Najeeb Qasmi Sambhali is an Indian Sunni Islamic scholar who established Al-Noor Public School, Sambhal. He has authored Dars-e-Hadith, Dars-e-Quran, Islahi Mazameen, Journey to Madina, Qur'an and Hadith - Main Sources of Islamic Ideology and Umrah Ka Tariqah
Mohammad Najeeb Qasmi is a grandson of Ismail Sambhali who was a hadith scholar and an activist of the Indian Independence movement. [1] Ismail Sambhali was professor of hadith at the Madrasa Shahi in Moradabad and his students include Athar Mubarakpuri and Nizamuddin Asir Adrawi. [2] Najeeb Qasmi studied traditional dars-e-nizami at the Darul Uloom Deoband and graduated from there in 1994. [3] [4] He received a B.A. from Jamia Millia Islamia and an M.A in Arabic from the Delhi University. He completed his doctoral studies at the Jamia Millia Islamia. [5] [4]
Qasmi established Al-Noor Public School in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh on 21 December 2018. The foundation stone was laid down by teachers of the Darul Uloom Deoband and Jamia Millia Islamia. [6] His articles have appeared in Monthly al-Bayyinat of Jamia Binoria and in Jahan-e-Urdu. [7] [8] His articles regularly appear in The Inquilab, The Munsif Daily, The Siasat Daily, Urdu Times, Avadhnama and other Indian and Pakistani newspapers like Daily Jang and Daily Express. [9] [10] He also writes on his website, which was released in a function held in Riyadh on 4 January 2013 by a number of Indian scholars. [11] [5] [12] Saudi Gazette in its report called the website a brain child of Qasmi. [13] At the launch program, Qasmi said, "Given the popularity of the Internet, many new websites with Islamic names are launched regularly, misinterpreting Islamic teachings. This website provides reliable Islamic content for users". [3] He launched Hajj-e-Mabroor application to help provide accurate information about Hajj and Umrah. [14] It was released in 2015 in by Muhammad Mustafa Azmi. [15] [16] [17] The application has articles, books and videos of Qasmi in English, Hindi and Urdu covering various aspects of Hajj and Umrah. [17] [18] In 2019, Qasmi was conferred with the Watan Ke Ratna Award. [19]
Qasmi's set of 38 books was released by Muhammad Mustafa Azmi whilst his six books were released in Ansari auditorium of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) by the former VC of JMI, Talat Ahmad, Akhtarul Wasey and Abul Qasim Nomani. [20] [21] His books include: [22]

Saeed Ahmad Palanpuri, was an Indian Sunni Muslim scholar and author who served as Shaykh al-Hadith and Principal of Darul Uloom Deoband. A number of his books are required readings in Darul Uloom Deoband.

He was the editor of Tehzeeb-ul-Akhlaq and authored books such as The Criticism of Poetry. He translated E. M. Forster's Aspects of the Novel into Urdu as Novel ka Fun. Abdul Khaliq Sambhali was an Indian Muslim scholar and writer who served as the vice-rector of Darul Uloom Deoband. He was an alumnus of the Deoband seminary and had studied with scholars including Mahmood Hasan Gangohi, Muhammad Tayyib Qasmi and Syed Fakhruddin Ahmad. He translated Abdul Majeed al-Zindani's Al-Tawḥīd into Urdu and gave religious discourses criticizing the Maududism.
Shaykh-ul-Hadeeth Hazrat Maulana Fida-ur-Rehman Darkhwasti was a Pakistani Islamic scholar, academic and politician. He was the founder of Jamia Anwar-ul-Quran Adam Town North Karachi, former Central Emir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and former Emir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Sindh Province, Emir of Pakistan Shariat Council and Patron of Jamia Makhzan-ul-Uloom Khanpur. He was the son of Abdullah Darkhawasti. He died in Islamabad on 1 January 2020.

He is an alumnus of Darul Uloom Sabil-us-Salam of Hyderabad, Darul Uloom Deoband, Al Mahadul Aali Al Islami, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Osmania University, and the Islamic University of Madinah. He has written several books, including Uloom-ul-Hadīth, Hindustān Mein Islam Ki Aamad Aur Ishā'at, Huqūq Aur Unki Kharīd-o-Farokht, Qurān-e-Karīm: Aadāb o Ahkām, and Ulama-e-Hind Ki Chand Aham Qurani Khidmāt.
