Molly Brigid O'Bryan Vandemoer (born April 13, 1979) is an American sailor who competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Elliott 6m class with Anna Tunnicliffe and Deborah Capozzi coming 5th overall. [1] With Tunnicliffe and Capozzi, she also won the World title in 2011 and came second in 2012. [2] [3]

Previously, she was a High School National Champion, and competed with the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa sailing team, [4] where she was the captain of the women's and co-ed teams, was named three-times ICSA All-American skipper, and won the ICSA Women's Dinghy National Championship in 2001. [5] She was awarded the Wayne Kight Memorial Trophy in 2001. [6]

She also won, with Anna Tunnicliffe, the Women's Snipe World Championships in 2010.

She is currently the director of the Peninsula Youth Sailing Foundation (PYSF). [7]

The Dutch Yngling helmed by Annelies Thies and crewed by Bes and Petronella de Jong took the 4th place. Bes returned to the Olympics, again in the Dutch Yngling, during the 2008 Olympics this time with fellow crewmember Merel Witteveen and helmsman Mandy Mulder. The Dutch Yngling team took the Silver Medal in Qingdao. Bes than switched to the Elliott 6m Match racing. During the 2012 Olympics the team with helmsman Renee Groeneveld and crewmembers Bes and Marcelien Bos-de Koning took 8th place in Weymouth.

The Elliott 6m is an Olympic-class keelboat, designed by New Zealander, Greg Elliott. It was selected for the women's match racing event for the 2012 Olympics. The Elliott 6m carries a spinnaker pole and symmetric spinnaker which are considered more suitable for match racing.

Anna Elisabeth Kjellberg is a Swedish Olympic sailor competing in match racing. She finished 12th in the Elliott 6m event at the 2012 Summer Olympics together with Malin Källström and Lotta Harrysson.She won the 2014 ISAF Women's Match Racing World Championship.

The Women's Match Racing World Championship is arranged by the International Sailing Federation. With female match racing included in the 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition for the first time this section of the sport is growing in popularity.
