Mom Jeans (stylized Mom Jeans.) is an American alternative rock/indie rock [3] band formed in Berkeley, California in 2014.
Mom Jeans was formed in early 2014 at UC Berkeley by drummer Austin Carango and lead singer Eric Butler.
The duo recorded Spring Demo in May 2014, a six-track EP which would later be released as the band's self-titled debut on cassette tape by Northern California-based label, Fourth Row Records.
Tracks on Spring Demo feature only Eric and Austin in an acoustic style, while the later release of the self-titled EP included electric instrumentation with new additions, Josh Perline on bass/vocals, and David McDowall on drums; McDowall left the band shortly after release.
Later that summer, the band recorded Allergic which featured Carango switching to drums, Perline switching to guitar, with bass duties being assumed by both members.
Post-release, Gabriel "Gabe" Paganin joined the band as a fill-in bassist while Josh Perline departed on good terms.
Mom Jeans self-released their first full-length album, Best Buds, on July 3, 2016.
Soon thereafter, the group signed with Massachusetts-based label Counter Intuitive Records, who then re-released the band's first full-length album on vinyl in November 2016.
On March 7, 2017, Mom Jeans released a split EP with the Fresno-based band Graduating Life.
Afterward, Bart Thompson of Graduating Life and Meet Me in Montauk became a guitarist for the band.
On October 6, 2017, Counter Intuitive Records released another split EP titled NOW That's What I Call Music Vol. 420, featuring music from Mom Jeans as well as the bands Pictures of Vernon and Prince Daddy & The Hyena. [3] [4]
The same month, the band announced they had signed with SideOneDummy Records, and had plans to release their second album through the label in 2018. However, in a reddit post, Eric Butler confirmed that they would no longer be working with the label and instead continue to work with Counter Intuitive Records to release their second album. [5] [6]
The band's second full-length album, Puppy Love, was released on July 3, 2018 [7] with Counter Intuitive Records, as well as a limited independent label run of the record and a select variant being put out by UK based label Big Scary Monsters.
In early 2019, the band began recording demos for a new LP, named Sweet Tooth, following the departure of Gabriel Paganin. In fall, it was announced the band would be touring with Hobo Johnson, featuring guest bassist Billy Bouzos (owner of the Oakland-based indie label Slang Church) filling in for Sam Kless. Sweet Tooth was released on February 25, 2022, with the first single What's Up? being released on September 28, 2021. [8]
On November 13, 2023 the band released next studio album, Bear Market on November 17, 2023.

Magic Dirt is an Australian rock band, which formed in 1991 in Geelong, Victoria, with Daniel Herring on guitar, Adam Robertson on drums, Adalita Srsen on vocals and guitar, and Dean Turner on bass guitar. Initially forming an alternative underground band called Deer Bubbles which split and formed into the much heavier, rock based group called The Jim Jims, they were renamed as Magic Dirt. Their top 40 releases on the ARIA Albums Chart are Friends in Danger (1996), What Are Rock Stars Doing Today (2000), Tough Love (2003) and Snow White (2005). They have received nine ARIA Music Award nominations including four at the ARIA Music Awards of 1995 for Life Was Better – their second extended play. Turner died in August 2009 of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans. From 2010 to November 2018, the band were on hiatus.

Overcome are an American Christian metalcore band. They come from Phoenix, Arizona. The band started making music in 1993 until their decade-long hiatus from 2000 to 2010, when they commenced making music again. Facedown Records has released the other albums from the band signed the band. The Blamed is an American Christian hardcore punk band currently based out of Chicago. During their tenure they have played primarily hardcore punk, pop punk, punk rock, and emo music with some influences from metal as well. They originally are from California having relocated to Illinois after guitarist Bryan Gray moved to Chicago. The band originally formed in 1994 and disbanded in 2003. Members during this era of the band included Bryan Gray, Christopher Wiitala, Trevor Wiitala, Jeff Locke, Jim Chaffin, John Hansen, and Matt Switaj. They have released three albums, with Tooth & Nail Records, 21 in 1994, Frail in 1996, and Give Us Barabbas in 2002. The band released four albums, with Grrr Records, ...Again in 1998, Forever in 1999, Germany in 2000, and Isolated Incident in 2001. The band reformed in the summer of 2016 to play a one-off set at Audio Feed music festival. This has since lead to the band reforming and recording a split EP with the Chicago hardcore band The Satire, a band sharing multiple members with the Blamed. The split EP was released in November 2018 through Indivision Music.

Origami Angel is an American rock band from Washington D.C., consisting of singer and guitarist Ryland Heagy and drummer Pat Doherty. The duo formed the band in 2016 after the demise of a common prior band, and released a series of EPs leading up to their debut studio album, Somewhere City in 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic limited the ability to tour in support of the album, so they instead focused on recording material written during the prior sessions to release their second studio album, Gami Gang in 2021, and wrote and recorded further material for a series of smaller releases, including a mixtape, The Brightest Days, released in 2023. A third studio album, Feeling Not Found, is scheduled for release on September 27, 2024.
