PVK Jadran

PVK Jadran is a professional water polo club based in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. As of 2019–20 season, the club competes in the Montenegrin League, Regional League A1 and LEN Champions League.

Montenegro mens national water polo team

The Montenegro men's national water polo team represents Montenegro in international men's water polo competitions, and is controlled by the Water Polo and Swimming Federation of Montenegro.

The 1991 Men's World Water Polo Championship was the sixth edition of the men's water polo tournament at the World Aquatics Championships, organised by the world governing body in aquatics, the FINA. The tournament was held from 3 to 13 January 1991, and was incorporated into the 1991 World Aquatics Championships in Perth, Western Australia.

Nikola Rađen Serbian water polo player

Nikola Rađen is a Serbian water polo player who plays for Serbian club Crvena zvezda. He was a member of the Serbia men's national water polo team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He won with Serbia the 2009 World Championship as well as the 2012 Eindhoven European Championship. Rađen has also won 2 LEN Euroleagues with his former clubs Partizan Raiffeisen (2011) and VK Crvena zvezda (2013).


Aleksandar Ivović is a Montenegrin water polo player. He started his career at PVK Jadran, which is his first senior team to compete for. He was a member of the Montenegro men's national water polo team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. The team reached the semifinals, where they were defeated by Hungary and then lost to Serbia in the bronze medal match. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he was again a member of Montenegro's team, where they lost to Croatia in the semi-final, and then lost to Serbia again in the bronze medal match, this time 11–12.Is a world-class defender and is considered one of the best in the world in this position

Mlađan Janović is a Montenegrin water polo player. He currently plays for AN Brescia and he is a long-standing member of the Montenegrin national water polo team. He was part of the Montenegro national team that was crowned European Champion at the 2008 European Championship in Málaga.

Nikola Janović is a Montenegrin water polo player and the former Minister of Sports of Montenegro. He was a member of the Montenegro men's national water polo team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. The team reached the semi-finals, where they were defeated by Hungary and met Serbia in the bronze medal match. Is the current minister of Sports.

Nikola Stamenić, also known as "The General", is a Serbian water polo coach widely considered one of the greatest coaches in water polo history. Under his guidance, Yugoslavia men's national water polo team won the gold medal in both the 1991 World Championship in Perth and the 1991 European Championship in Athens, becoming World and European Champions in the same year. At club level he successfully coached Olympiacos, Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, Bečej and Marseille.
