Montenegro competed at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships in Kazan, Russia from 24 July to 9 August 2015.
Montenegro is a country in Southeast Europe on the Adriatic Sea. It borders Bosnia and Herzegovina to the northwest; Serbia and Kosovo to the east, Albania to the south and Croatia to the southwest. Montenegro has an area of 13,812 square kilometres and a population of 620,079. Its capital Podgorica is one of the twenty-three municipalities in the country. Cetinje is designated as the Old Royal Capital.
The 16th FINA World Championships, also Aquatics 2015, were held in Kazan, Russia from 24 July to 9 August 2015. Russia hosted this event for the first time. The number of participating national teams (190), athletes (2,400) and the number of medals (75) were the most ever amongst these championships. This was the first time the World Aquatics Championships partially overlaps with the FINA World Masters Championships that have a number of athletes, countries (110) and medals (635) which are the most ever also.
Kazan is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. With a population of 1,243,500, it is the sixth most populous city in Russia. Kazan is one of the largest religious, economic, political, scientific, educational, cultural and sports centers in Russia. Kazan lies at the confluence of the Volga and Kazanka Rivers in European Russia, about 715 kilometres (444 mi) east from Moscow. The Kazan Kremlin is a World Heritage Site.

Draško Brguljan (born 27 December 1984) is a Montenegrin water polo player who plays for Orvosegyetem SC in the Hungarian Championship. He was a member of the Montenegro men's national water polo team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. The team reached the semifinals, where they were defeated by Hungary before losing again to Serbia in the bronze medal match. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he again played for Montenegro, who were again defeated by Serbia in the bronze medal match, losing 11 - 12.
Vjekoslav Pasković is a Montenegrin water polo player. He is a member of the Montenegro men's national water polo team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. The team reached the semifinals, where they were defeated by Hungary in the semifinal and finished fourth after losing to Serbia in the bronze medal match. He was also part of the team at the 2012 Olympics, where Montenegro again reached the semifinals, losing to Croatia this time, and then they again lost to Serbia in the bronze medal match.
Uroš Čučković is a Montenegrian professional water polo player. He was part of the Montenegrin team at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where the team finished in fourth place.
