Montreal Assault is the first DVD by Canadian deathcore band Despised Icon, released January 27, 2009 through Century Media. The DVD was peaked at #123 on the Billboard Top Music Videos.
Montreal Assault features the band performing on June 5, 2008 at Club Soda in their hometown, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The show was filmed by David Brodsky with sound produced by Yannick St-Amand, Despised Icon's former guitarist. [1] The DVD also features an hour-long documentary by Reconstructed Media that retraces the band's career, showing never-before-released footage.
Vocalist Alexandre Erian stated:
The live mix sounds so massive. It was done by none other than our former guitarist Yannick St-Amand. You can even listen to it in 5.1 Surround. Our buddy Felix also created some of his sickest artwork yet. The shooting and editing of the show went awesome. David Brodsky and his team captured tons of adrenaline-packed moments." [2]

Slipknot is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Slipknot. It was released on June 29, 1999, by Roadrunner Records, following a demo containing a few of the songs which had previously been released in 1998. Later, it was reissued in December 1999 with a slightly-altered track listing and mastering as the result of a lawsuit. It was the first release by the band to be produced by Ross Robinson, who sought to refine Slipknot's sound rather than alter the group's musical direction. This is the only album to feature original guitarist Josh Brainard who left at the end of recording in late 1998 while the band was taking a brief break. Jim Root, who recorded two tracks at this point, would appear full time on subsequent albums starting with their next album Iowa.
Disturbed is an American heavy metal band from Chicago, formed in 1994. The band includes guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren, lead vocalist David Draiman and bassist John Moyer. Beneath the Massacre is a Canadian technical death metal band from Montreal, Quebec. Their debut EP Evidence of Inequity, was released in 2005, under Galy Records. In early 2006, the band signed with Prosthetic Records and released their first full-length album, Mechanics of Dysfunction, on the label on February 20, 2007. They were on the 2007 Brutalitour alongside Animosity, As Blood Runs Black, and the Faceless. The double-disc release features a recording of their headlining performance at the 2009 Download Festival, along with a 45-minute behind the scenes documentary created by percussionist Shawn Crahan, and the four music videos from All Hope Is Gone. It is the band's first release since the death of the band's former bassist Paul Gray and is dedicated in his memory. On September 22, 2010, (sic)nesses premiered in select theaters across the United States. Entrance to the screenings were free and it included free giveaways. Reception was generally positive, with Artistdirect rewarding the album a perfect five out of five stars, and Blabbermouth.net giving the album eight and a half out of ten stars. The album peaked at number one on four charts: the Australian Top 40 Music DVD Chart, the Finland Top 10 Music DVDs, the UK Top 10 Music DVD Chart, and the US Top Music Video Chart.

It was produced by former guitarist Yannick St-Amand and mixed by Andy Sneap. The band were inspired to reform and write new music after seeing former bassist Max Lavelle perform with his current band The Black Dahlia Murder.
Danza IIII: The Alpha – The Omega is the fourth and final studio album by American mathcore band The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza. The album was released on October 16, 2012 through Black Market Activities. The record was heavily praised and was seen as a fitting finale for the band's existence. Following Danza IIII and the dissolution of the band, vocalist Jessie Freeland became a police officer in 2014 while guitarist Josh Travis would later go on to join metalcore band Emmure in 2016.
Obey the Brave was a Canadian hardcore punk band From Montreal, Quebec and Ottawa, Ontario. Formed in 2012, the band features Despised Icon singer Alex Erian on vocals as well as Blind Witness bassist Miguel Lepage, guitarists John Campbell and Greg Wood, and drummer Stevie Morotti. By the middle of 2012, just over half a year after becoming a band, the metalcore act found itself signed to iconic label Good Fight, with the EP, Ups And Downs, released in 2012. They signed to the label Epitaph, with the band's debut studio album, Young Blood, released in August of that same year. A sophomore album, Salvation, followed in 2014. The third album Mad Season was followed up in 2017. The fourth album Balance was followed up in 2019.
Purgatory is the sixth studio album by Despised Icon. The album was released on November 15, 2019. It was produced by former guitarist Yannick St-Amand, similarly to the previous album Beast, though this time with co-lead vocalist Alex Erian and lead guitarist Eric Jarrin, both of whom wrote the album together with drummer Alex "Grind" Pelletier.
