Moose & Molly is an American comic strip by Bob Weber, published by King Features Syndicate. [1] It began on September 20, 1965, as Moose, and retitled Moose Miller six years later. [2] It was renamed Moose & Molly in 1998. [2] [3] In April 2020, Bob Weber retired the comic strip. [4] Weber based many of Moose's adventures on his own family's experiences. [3]

<i>The Biskitts</i> American animated television series

The Biskitts is an American animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions from 1983 to 1984 and aired on CBS. The series lasted for only one season; only 13 episodes were produced. Shirt Tales replaced the show in its time slot the following year. The Biskitts returned to that same time slot in March 1985 but only aired reruns in the remainder of that season. Following the series' retirement from CBS, like many other cartoons, it was acquired by the Armed Forces Network and shown throughout much of the 1980s, mainly as entertainment for children of deployed American servicemen in Asia and Europe.

<i>Piranha Club</i> Comic strip

Piranha Club was a comic strip written and illustrated by Bud Grace. It was originally called Ernie, but the title was changed in 1998. The club is meant as a parody on Lions Club International, and the strip made its debut in February 1988. In 1989, the Swedish Academy of Comic Art awarded Bud Grace with the Adamson Statuette. Grace received the 1993 National Cartoonists Society's Newspaper Comic Strip Award for his work on the strip.

Lotsa Luck is an American sitcom, broadcast on NBC during the 1973–74 television season. The series stars Dom DeLuise as bachelor Stanley Belmont who lives with his bossy mother, his sister Olive and her unemployed husband, Arthur. Jack Knight stars as Stanley's best friend, Bummy.

He also had a recurring role as Billy Colivida on Yes, Dear and appeared in a dozen episodes of My Name Is Earl as a police officer. Gardell voiced Santa in Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas, as well as starring on Sullivan & Son in the recurring role of Lyle Winkler. From 2019 to 2024 Gardell played Bob Wheeler in the CBS sitcom series Bob Hearts Abishola.

Slylock Fox is a daily comic strip created by Bob Weber Jr. and published by King Features Syndicate. Bob Weber Jr. is the son of Bob Weber Sr., creator of the comic strip Moose & Molly. The target audience is young children. According to the official website, Slylock Fox appears in nearly 400 newspapers with a combined readership of over 30 million.

The Pajama Diaries is a syndicated comic strip created in 2006 by Terri Libenson, a Reuben Award-winning artist who has also done work for American Greetings. It is narrated by Jill Kaplan, a wife of a loving husband and working mom of two young girls in a Jewish family somewhere in Ohio done in real-time fashion, where the characters age with the progressive years of the series and deals with varying topics from the everyday silliness and dramas of life to social commentary. The Pajama Diaries is carried by King Features Syndicate. On December 10, 2019, Libenson announced that she would be ending the strip to focus on her career as a children's book author; the final strip was published on January 4, 2020.

Bruce Alfred Johnston Sr. was the leader of one of the most notorious gangs in the history of Pennsylvania, U.S. The gang started in the 1960s and was rounded up in 1978 after his son, Bruce Jr., testified against him. The 1986 film At Close Range is based loosely on Johnston's gang.

Popeye the Sailor is a fictional cartoon character created by Elzie Crisler Segar. The character first appeared on January 17, 1929, in the daily King Features comic strip Thimble Theatre. The strip was in its tenth year when Popeye made his debut, but the one-eyed sailor quickly became the lead character, and Thimble Theatre became one of King Features' most popular properties during the 1930s. Following Segar's death in 1938, Thimble Theatre was continued by several writers and artists, most notably Segar's assistant Bud Sagendorf. The strip continues to appear in first-run installments on Sundays, written and drawn by R. K. Milholland. The daily strips are reprints of old Sagendorf stories.

Dustin is a daily comic strip created by Steve Kelley, editorial cartoonist for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and Jeff Parker, editorial cartoonist for Florida Today. It is carried by King Features Syndicate and debuted on January 4, 2010. Dustin won the National Cartoonists Society Reuben Award for Best Newspaper Comic Strip in 2010, and again in 2017 . Focusing on the present boomerang generation and post-2008 recession period, it also deals with varying topics from everyday life and social commentary.

Oh, Brother! is an American comic strip by Bob Weber Jr. and Jay Stephens, launched June 28, 2010, by King Features Syndicate. On July 29, 2011, the Oh, Brother! team announced the finale on their blog. Daily syndication ceased on August 7, 2011.

Writer Bob Karp and artist Al Taliaferro worked together on the strip for more than 30 years. The strip ended in May 1995.
