Morownica [mɔrɔvˈnit͡sa] (German : Murkwitz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Śmigiel, within Kościan County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. [1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south-west of Śmigiel, 17 km (11 mi) south-west of Kościan, and 56 km (35 mi) south-west of the regional capital Poznań.
