Mort Aux Vaches (English: Death to Cows) is Tim Hecker's fourth release. It is a part of Staalplaat's series of live releases from a wide range of artists of the same name. Hecker's recording is from a live set for Dutch national radio VPRO, recorded on 3 May 2004.

Mort aux Vaches is the name of a series of albums released by the Staalplaat record label in collaboration with the Dutch radio station, VPRO. The name translates literally from French as “Death to Cows,” with “cows” being French slang for cops - it is equivalent to “Death to Pigs” in English.

It was recorded between 2004 and January 2006 for the atelier de création radiophonique of France Culture, a national radio station, to be played back in a special broadcast. Schott was pleased with the results and soon decided to also release the recordings as an EP. This EP became her second release of 2006, acting as successor to the Mort Aux Vaches live album released in January.
