Mosiny [mɔˈɕinɨ] (Kashubian : Mòsënë; German Mossin) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Człuchów, within Człuchów County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.^[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south of Człuchów and 121 km (75 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

Kashubian or Cassubian is a West Slavic lect belonging to the Lechitic subgroup along with Polish and Silesian. Although often classified as a language in its own right, it is sometimes viewed as a dialect of Pomeranian or as a dialect of Polish.

Before that the area was recorded nearly 2000 years ago as Germania, and in modern-day times Pomerania is split between Germany and Poland.
