Pima County is a county in the south central region of the U.S. state of Arizona. As of the 2020 census, the population was 1,043,433, making it Arizona's second-most populous county. The county seat is Tucson, where most of the population is centered. The county is named after the Pima Native Americans who are indigenous to this area.

Casas Adobes is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in the northern metropolitan area of Tucson, Arizona. The population was 66,795 at the 2010 census. Casas Adobes is situated south and southwest of the town of Oro Valley, and west of the community of Catalina Foothills.

In the 1994–95 and 1995-96 school years, it was honored as a Blue Ribbon school. RMHS received the 2014 A+ School Award under the direction of Dr. Gerald Slemmer, principal (2004-2014). They received the award again in 2018 under Mr. Jared Ryan, principal (2014-2019). Red Mountain High School has over 3,300 students enrolled as of the 2020–21 school year. It is a part of the Mesa Unified School District.

La Mirada High School is a public high school in La Mirada, California. It is a member school of the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District which was built in 1960 as one of three high schools in the district. After the Norwalk/La Mirada School District voted to close William N. Neff High School in 1980, Neff High School students began attending La Mirada High School in the Fall of 1981. Since then, La Mirada High School has been the only high school in La Mirada.
Jared Lee Loughner is an American mass murderer who pled guilty to 19 charges of murder and attempted murder in connection with the January 8, 2011, Tucson shooting, in which he shot and severely injured U.S. Representative Gabby Giffords, and killed six people, including Chief U.S. District Court Judge John Roll, Gabe Zimmerman, a member of Giffords' staff, and a 9-year-old girl, Christina-Taylor Green. Loughner shot and injured a total of 13 people, including one man who was injured while subduing him.
