A critic from Vijaya Karnataka wrote that "The only plus point of the film is Jaggesh. Once again he has proved that his body language and timing are still good. Whether in the guise of Krishna, or in the context of wearing a lot of gold, his performance should be enjoyed". Jaggesh, born on 17 March 1963, is an Indian politician, actor, director and producer, who works in the Kannada film industry. He is a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from Karnataka since 2022 and the spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Karnataka.
