Daniel Alan Maman, professionally known as the Alchemist, is an American musician, record producer, DJ, rapper and songwriter. He began his music career in 1991 in the hip hop duo The Whooliganz under the moniker Mudfoot, along with now-actor Scott Caan. After rising to prominence in the late 1990s, as a close associate of Dilated Peoples and Mobb Deep, he went on to produce for many of hip hop's leading artists in the 2000s, and has been hailed as one of the genre's leading producers. While he produces for many artists, most of his recent production has been for a close group of frequent collaborative rappers. He focuses on producing entire albums for rappers and instrumental projects of his own. He is currently Eminem's official DJ.
Damon J. Blackman, better known by his stage name Dame Grease, is an American record producer from New York City. In 1996, he gained recognition in the hip hop industry through his production work with Bad Boy and The LOX, while also establishing the sound of DMX and Ruff Ryders.
Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, known professionally as Big Sean, is an American rapper. Sean signed with Kanye West's GOOD Music in 2007, Def Jam Recordings in 2008, and Roc Nation in 2014.
Pilot Talk is the third studio album by rapper Curren$y. It was to be the first released under the newly re-launched Roc-A-Fella Records by Damon Dash and distributed through Def Jam Recordings. It was later revealed that the album would be released under Damon Dash's DD172 record label division, BluRoc Records. The album was originally scheduled to be released on March 23, 2010. However, when the Def Jam deal was acquired, the album was given a June 15, 2010 release. The album was then pushed back and released on July 13. The entire album is solely produced by Ski Beatz except "Prioritize", which is produced by Nesby Phips, and "Roasted", which is produced by Monsta Beatz. Ski Beatz also remixed the song "Breakfast" for the album which was originally produced by Mos Def. Several music videos were shot for the album promotion and can be found on CreativeControl.tv
Pilot Talk II is the fourth studio album by rapper Curren$y. The majority of the album was produced by Ski Beatz and The Senseis. Curren$y himself stated in an interview that the album would be released October 26, 2010. The album was moved back and released on November 22, 2010.
Covert Coup is a collaboration studio album by rapper Curren$y and producer The Alchemist. The album featured guest appearances from rappers Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Freddie Gibbs, Smoke DZA and Fiend and contains 10 songs. Covert Coup was created as a retail EP. Later, the artists decided to release it as a free digital album. It was still treated as a mixtape, however, since it was given away for free. On April 7, 2011, the first single from Covert Coup titled "Ventilation" was leaked onto the internet. "Full Metal" was leaked on April 12. On April 15, the third single entitled "Scottie Pippen" featuring Freddie Gibbs, was leaked. The album was released by Curren$y on April 20, 2011 via his Twitter.
Weekend At Burnie's is the fifth studio album by American rapper Curren$y. The album was released on June 28, 2011, through Warner Bros. Eleven tracks on this album are produced by Monsta Beatz. The album's lead single, "#JetsGo" is produced by Rahki. "You See It" and "This Is the Life" were leaked to promote the album. On June 21 Curren$y premiered the album during a Ustream-Session. It featured the Bonus Tracks "JLC" and "Get Paid." In its first week, the album sold 23,000 copies in the US, after a Billboard 200 debut of #22.
"Oh My" is a song by American hip hop artist DJ Drama, released on May 13, 2011, as the lead single from his third studio album Third Power. The song was produced by frequent collaborator Drumma Boy and features American rappers Fabolous, Roscoe Dash and Wiz Khalifa. The song peaked at #18 on the Billboard and #12 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, making it the most successful song for DJ Drama to date.

DD172 is a media collective founded by American entrepreneur Damon Dash. DD172 encompasses America Nu, a magazine; and VNGRD79, a web design firm. It also includes an art gallery. DD172 is named for Dash's initials and its original street address. That building, a rented four-story warehouse, housed the organization until mid-June 2011, at which time DD172 moved out.

The collective is also known by the names Jet Life Crew, The JETS, sometimes stylized as The J.E.T.S. or The JET$, and as Jets International.
