Music for Aliens is a collection of six songs by Space, downloadable on their old website, www.spacetheband.com, made between 2002 and 2003 during the time the band were on hiatus from public recognition.
While they were busy finding a new label and working on their next album, Space released these tracks in order to keep their waiting fans happy. They were recorded at HUG and bassist Yorkie's own Satellite studios, and were produced and recorded by the band themselves, abide help from long-time contributor Rob Ferrier.
The songs marked a change in direction from their early material, ditching the old mainstream sound and incorporating a more freelance, experimental mood. Each song is different in style; for example, "Nothing to Find Her" is inspired by ambient and techno, while "Straight Line" and "The English Language Let Me Down" are more stripped down in approach. This new sound is evident on their comeback record Suburban Rock 'n' Roll, only that the songs' production is much slicker and stream-lined than those on Music for Aliens.

Download is a Canadian electronic music group formed by Dwayne Goettel and Kevin Crompton of Skinny Puppy in 1994. The initial lineup also included Off & Gone's Phil Western and Mark Spybey of Dead Voices on Air, but has since been particularly fluid, with Key and Western being the only constant members following Goettel's death. End of the Century is the fifth studio album by the American punk rock band the Ramones, released on February 4, 1980, through Sire Records. Backtracks is a box set by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It was announced on 29 September 2009 and was released on 10 November 2009. This is a collection of the band's studio and live rarities together in one boxset. There are two editions; a Deluxe Edition and a Standard Edition. All tracks have been remastered to match the sound of the 2003 album remasters and many songs appear on CD for the first time. It is the band's second box set of rarities, following the Bonfire release in 1997.
Music for Cars is the third extended play (EP) by English band The 1975, released on 4 March 2013 by Dirty Hit, Polydor Records and Vagrant Records. Development of the record began after the band completed their eponymous debut album. Working with producer Mike Crossey, the 1975 created "Chocolate" during the album's recording sessions before building the other tracks of the EP around the song. The band sought to create a cohesive concept for the record, primarily producing the remaining four songs by themselves in the bedroom of singer Healy at Rose Cottage in Cheshire.

It is the group's first studio album since their reformation in 2011 and their first studio release overall since 2004's Suburban Rock 'n' Roll.
