Musikmesse Frankfurt was an international trade show and music festival for the music products industry that took place annually in Frankfurt am Main, Germany from 1980 until 2019. At its peak, the fair was one of the largest international trade shows, with over 1,800 attendees from all around the world. [1]
The fair was first introduced in 1980. It is generally held in the first quarter of the year for four days. The first two days are reserved for the business audience, while the last two days are accessible for everyone.
In 2013, the fair was held from 10 to 13 April, with 68,587 visitors and 1,512 exhibitors from 51 countries in attendance. A playable and oversized tuba with a measure of 2,05 metres and weighing of 50 kg was displayed, which was first shown in 2012 in the musical instrument museum in Markneukirchen. Despite an exhibitor drop to 1,384 in 2013, the number of visitors went up to 70,863.
In 2016, the fair took place from 7 to 10 April. For the first time the Musikmesse Festival took place in the framework of the Musikmesse. It was spread over Frankfurt's pubs and provided musical entertainment.
The fair was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, [2] and 2021. [3] and in 2022 its organizers announced that it would end the Musikmesse trade show and related local festivals. [4] [5] [6] [1]
On the main stage, the Agora Stage, every thirty minutes a new act presents music or product demonstrations on two levels at all days. International artists perform music in all facets.

The Frankfurt Radio Symphony is the radio orchestra of Hessischer Rundfunk, the public broadcasting network of the German state of Hesse. He is known for church music influenced by jazz, such as motets for choir with plucked bass.
Motortec is an international trade fair of automotive components and accessories originally only held biennially in Madrid, at the IFEMA exhibition centre. The 2007 edition, held in May, boasted 804 exhibitors from 24 countries. The 2009 edition took place in March.

The Kunstmesse München is the oldest art and antiques fair in Germany. Held annually in the autumn with a run-time of ten days, it is a fair for the general public, attended by leading national and international exhibitors. For some time now its venue is the historic Postpalast in Munich, on Wredestraße near the Hackerbrücke. The offer ranges from Protohistory and Ancient History via the arts and crafts of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance through to art and design of Modernism until approximately 1970, with occasional exceptions. The fair is organised by Expo Management Kiel, its conceptual sponsor is, in continuation of the Deutscher Kunsthandelsverband, the newly founded Kunsthändlerverband Deutschland.
VeggieWorld is annual vegan food and clothing festivals held in numerous locations around Europe and Asia. VeggieWorld is one of the biggest Vegan/Vegetarian festivals in the world, and one of the biggest such fairs, with on average 8,000 visitors. The first VeggieWorld festival was held in Wiesbaden in 2011, hosted by ProVeg Deutschland.

The Frankfurter Musikpreis has been awarded since 1982 by the joint foundation of the Musikmesse Frankfurt and the National Association of German Musical Instruments Manufacturers. The aim of this international music award is to highlight "personalities from the world of music for special achievements in the fields of interpretation, composition, musicology, teaching and services to music making". The award is presented annually and alternately to personalities from the world of music in the fields of popular music and classical music. It is endowed with 15,000 euros. The awards ceremony takes place on the eve of the Musikmesse and Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt am Main.
R. B. Schlather is an American stage director especially for opera who has worked internationally. He has directed world premieres of operas by Hertzberg, The Wake World and The Rose Elf. He made his debut in Europe at Oper Frankfurt with Handel's Tamerlano in 2019, returning in 2021 for Cimarosa's L'Italiana in Londra and in 2022 for Puccini's Madama Butterfly.
BUCH WIEN is a four-day international book fair in Vienna, which takes place annually in November on the grounds of the Messe Wien in the Hall D. A total of around 400 events will take place as part of "Buch Wien". Since 2014, BUCH WIEN has started with the "Long Night of Books" the night before the fair.
