The signature style and iconicity of K3 rely on all three girls mostly wearing the same outfit, and they are tradionally a redhead, a brunette, and a blonde. Throughout its career, K3 has built a space within Dutch and Belgian pop culture, becoming one of the most successful groups of the Benelux. The group's name is derived from the first letters of the three first members from 1998: Karen Damen, Kristel Verbeke, and Kathleen Aerts.

Russian Dolls: Sex Trade is a Flemish drama television series about a group of women from Lithuania and Russia who are taken to Belgium by a gang involved in the sex trade to work as sex slaves. The series starts in Lithuania, where the girls are chosen and where they have to sign a contract in Greek, which they cannot understand. The gang, under the lead of Ray Van Mechelen, takes the girls to Cyprus and from there they are taken to Club 69 in Belgium to work. Russian Dolls is sponsored by the Flemish Audiovisual Fund.
Hopla is a Belgian children's computer-animated television series, created by Bert Smets in 2000, and produced by Bert Smets Productions. The cartoon features the rabbit Hopla and his friends – the pig Onki, the bear Nina, and the kitten Lola. Similar to its spiritual predecessor Tik Tak, the show is aimed at children between 0–2 years old and has no dialogue. Each episode is about five minutes, the show was animated with Strata 3D.

Mr. Men is a British series of children's books written and illustrated by English author Roger Hargreaves which began publication in August 1971. From 1981, an accompanying series of Little Miss books by the same author was published. A similar series of animal characters known as Timbuctoo started in 1978. After Hargreaves's death in 1988, his son Adam Hargreaves would eventually begin writing and illustrating new Mr. Men and Little Miss stories.
