Mutwalibi Mugolofa born (2 November 2000) is a Uganda professional footballer who plays as the goalkeeper for KCCA FC. [1]
He joined KCCA FC in January 2024.
He attended St. Mary's Secondary School, Kitende. [2]
His football career started with FUFA Juniors league. [3] He later played for the Vipers Junior Team, then Kyetume FC, Mbarara City FC and Jinja North United FC. [4]
Mutwalibi joined the club in January 2024 before signing a short term contract to keep him until the end of the season. [1] In June 2024, his contract was renewed as a two year employment contract until the 2026-27 season. [5] [4]
Mutwalibi was selected by coach Paul Put as one of the goalkeepers on the Uganda Cranes squad that will face South Africa and Congo in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers [6] based on his strong performance with KCCA FC under the on-going Uganda Premier League. [6]
Mutwalibi won the FUFA juniors league in 2017 with Vipers SC after defeating Onduparaka Junior team. [7]
He also won the 2019 Copa Coca- Cola Schools Championship after a goal down against Jinja SS and the match ended 3-1 in favour of Kitende Secondary School. [7]
In 2019, Mutwalibi received a maiden national team provisional call for CECAFA U-20. [7]
He also featured in the Masaza cup of Buganda kingdom in 2018, playing for Mawokota but lost to Buwekula by 2-0 [7]
Vipers SC is a Ugandan professional association football club based in Kitende. Wakiso District. It competes in the Uganda Premier League, the top flight of Ugandan football. The club was founded in 1969 as Bunamwaya FC. They are nick named the venoms.
