My Little Pony (MLP) is a toy line and media franchise developed by American toy company Hasbro. The first toys were developed by Bonnie Zacherle, Charles Muenchinger, and Steve D'Aguanno, and were produced in 1981. The ponies feature colorful bodies, manes and a unique symbol on one or both sides of their flanks. Such symbols are referred to in the three most recent incarnations as "cutie marks". My Little Pony has been revamped several times with new and more modern looks to continue its appeal to the market, with each new look called a "generation" by the show's collectors and fans. The franchise is mainly targeted at young girls, although in the 2010s, it gained a cult following by an unintended audience of adult, mostly male fans.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is an animated children's television series produced by Hasbro that ran from 2010 to 2019 as part of the My Little Pony toy franchise. Lauren Faust was selected as the creative developer and executive producer for the show based on her previous experience with other animated children's shows such as The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends on Cartoon Network. The comics are primarily based on the characters from the 2010 relaunch of the franchise and its television series My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, as well as the anthropomorphic spin-off Equestria Girls. Beginning in 2022, many of the comics also feature the characters from the fifth generation of the franchise and its associated television series My Little Pony: Make Your Mark.

Unlike Friendship Is Magic, it was not produced by DHX Studios Vancouver, instead by Boulder Media Limited in Ireland, and featured the same redesigned art style which was used in the 2017 movie.

It was written by Gillian Berrow and Tim Sullivan from a story by Cullen, Ucha and Sullivan. Based on Hasbro's My Little Pony franchise, the film marks the beginning of the fifth incarnation of the franchise, which serves as the official sequel to the previous generation, a first for the franchise. The film also marks Boulder Media's first feature film.
My Little Pony: Make Your Mark is a Canadian animated television series tied to the fifth incarnation of Hasbro's My Little Pony toyline. Set after the events of the film My Little Pony: A New Generation (2021), the series follows five ponies—Sunny Starscout, an idealistic earth pony; Izzy Moonbow, a creative unicorn; Hitch Trailblazer, a responsible earth pony; and sisters Zipp Storm and Pipp Petals, two pegasi princesses—on their adventures and battles across Equestria. The ponies are joined later on by Misty Brightdawn, a shy unicorn and former associate of the series' antagonist, the villainous alicorn Opaline Arcana.
My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure is a 2022 video game that serves as a sequel to My Little Pony: A New Generation. Licensed by Hasbro and published by Outright Games, A Maretime Bay Adventure follows Sunny Starscout after the events of A New Generation as she tries to solve the mystery of recent criminal activity in Maretime Bay. The game was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, and Windows via Steam on May 27, 2022, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions following on September 30, 2022.
