The Mysterious Monkeys were a German esports organisation based in Leipzig, Germany, that formerly had players competing in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive , League of Legends , and Rainbow Six Siege. On 5 April 2018, the organisation rebranded and was renamed Ad Hoc Gaming. [1]
The Mysterious Monkeys entered the professional League of Legends scene on 22 September 2015, but did not participate in any major Riot-sponsored league until 19 May 2017, when they purchased Misfits Academy's spot in the European League of Legends Championship Series (EU LCS). [2] [3] [4]
On 24 August 2017, the Mysterious Monkeys were relegated to the EU Challenger Series after losing 0–3 to the Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Team Curse, also known as Curse eSports, was a North American esports organization sponsored by Curse, Inc. and based in Los Angeles. Formed as a League of Legends team in 2010 by Steve "LiQuiD112" Arhancet, it was acquired by Curse Inc. in August 2011, and the team renamed to Team Curse. On April 15, 2014, Arhancet announced that he had purchased the esports arm of the Curse Inc., which from then on was an organization entire separated from Curse, Inc., although they were still the title sponsor of the new Curse eSports brand.
The League Championship Series (LCS) was the top level of professional League of Legends in the United States and Canada. The esports league was run by Riot Games and had anywhere from eight to 10 teams. Each annual season of competition was divided into two splits, spring and summer, which concluded with a double-elimination tournament between the top teams. At the end of the season, the winner, runners-up and third-place team of the summer playoffs qualified for the annual League of Legends World Championship.
Søren Bjerg, better known as Bjergsen, is a Danish former professional League of Legends player. He is best known for his 7 years from 2014 to 2020 as the starting mid laner for the Team SoloMid League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) team. He followed that with shorter stints as a head coach for TSM, and again as a mid laner for Team Liquid and 100 Thieves. He is one of the winningest North American players of all time with 6 domestic titles and 10 finals appearances, and has never finished below 5th place. Internationally, he won IEM Katowice 2015 and qualified to the League of Legends World Championship 5 times, but only advanced past the group stage once. He is best known as the greatest North American player for his individual prowess as a mid laner, where he was a perennial MVP and 1st Team All Pro candidate; he won 4 MVP titles, 3 playoff MVP titles, and 6 1st Team All Pro titles. He has never finished below 4th in All Pro voting, and is the current all-time LCS kills leader. He retired from competitive eSports in April of 2023.
Origen was a professional esports organisation based in Europe. Its main League of Legends team participated in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), the top-level league for the game in Europe. It was founded by Enrique "xPeke" Cedeño Martínez after his departure from Fnatic.
Henrik Hansen, better known by his in-game name Froggen, is a Danish professional League of Legends player. He is currently signed with Luminosity Gaming as a streamer. Over the course of his career he has also played for CLG.EU, Evil Geniuses, Alliance, Elements, Origen, Echo Fox, the Golden Guardians and Dignitas. Anivia is considered his signature champion.
The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) is the professional League of Legends esports league run by Riot Games in the EMEA region, in which ten teams compete. Each annual season of play is divided into three splits, winter, spring and summer, all consisting of three weeks of round-robin tournament play, which then conclude with play-off tournaments between the top six teams. At the end of the season, the top performing teams qualify for the annual League of Legends World Championship. The LEC represents the highest level of League of Legends play in the EMEA.
Renegades is an American professional esports organization. It has teams competing in Call of Duty, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Fortnite, Overwatch, Super Smash Bros., Rocket League, iRacing and Valorant. The organization previously had a League of Legends team that qualified for the 2016 North American League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), but it was sold to Team EnVyUs after the owners were banned from NA LCS ownership.
Gambit Esports, formerly Gambit Gaming, is an inactive Russian esports organization owned by telecommunications company MTS. It was established in January 2013 after the acquisition of the former League of Legends roster of Moscow Five.

Trevor Hayes, better known as Stixxay, is an American professional League of Legends player for Golden Guardians. Stixxay started his League of Legends professional career as the starting ADC for CLG's Challenger NA team CLG Black and substitute ADC for Misfits. In the 2015 Spring Challenger Series, CLG Black and Stixxay finished 2–8. In November 2015 he was elevated to the main team, replacing Peter "Doublelift" Peng as bot laner. In January 2022 he stepped down as a player and transferred to a coaching role at Golden Guardians.

He is best known for his time playing as the jungler for Gambit Esports. He previously played for Team Empire, Moscow Five, the Unicorns of Love and Apex Gaming. Diamondprox hails from Saint Petersburg and is one of the world's most well-known junglers, known for his prowess on champions such as Lee Sin in Season 2, and innovating the popular Season 3 jungle play of Nasus and Xin Zhao. Diamondprox became known in the high elo ladders of League of Legends around the end of Season 1 and start of pre-Season 2.
Maurice Stückenschneider, better known by his in-game name Amazing, is a German professional League of Legends player and coach. He is currently a coach for Misfits Gaming of the League of Legends European Championship (LEC). Amazing was a semifinalist at the 2015 World Championship while on Origen. Stückenschneider has been called "one of the most successful German League of Legends players of all time."
Paul Boyer, better known as sOAZ, is a French League of Legends coach for LDLC OL. Formerly a professional League of Legends player, he has played for against All authority (aAa), Fnatic, Origen, and Misfits Gaming of the LEC and Immortals of the LCS. While on aAa, sOAZ was a runner-up in the Season 1 World Championship. sOAZ is one of the most decorated players to play in the EU LCS, having won five split titles and six World Championship appearances.
Fabian Diepstraten, better known as Febiven, is a Dutch professional League of Legends player, currently playing for Team du Sud (LFL). During his career which spanned seven years, he played for several teams, including Misfits Gaming, Clutch Gaming, Fnatic, H2k-Gaming, and Cloud9 Eclipse.
Misfits Gaming is a professional esports organization based in Boca Raton, Florida, with players competing in League of Legends, Overwatch, Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Roblox. It was founded on 18 May 2016 by Ben Spoont, initially launching as a League of Legends Challenger Series team. It is also partnered by creating a Youtube channel and a Roblox gaming studio called Pixel Playground created by Karl Jacobs and popular Roblox YouTuber KreekCraft on the 24 March 2023.
Tristan Schrage, better known as PowerOfEvil, also shortened to POE, is a German professional League of Legends player. Schrage has played for a number of professional teams in both in Europe and North America, including Unicorns of Love, Origen, Misfits, Optic Gaming, Counter Logic Gaming, FlyQuest, Team SoloMid, and Immortals.
Steven Liv, better known as Hans Sama, is a French professional League of Legends player for G2 Esports. Liv has previously played for Team Liquid in the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), as well as Rogue and Misfits in the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC).
