N'abania is the debut studio album by Nigerian singer Flavour, released by Obaino Music in 2005. The album comprises twelve tracks and features guest appearances from Mr Raw, Prophecy and D Mustard. [1]

Singles

The title track, "N'abania", was released as one of the album's singles and features a rap verse by Mr Raw. The song's lyrics addresses the expectations of nightlife events. Nigerian musician J. Martins made a cameo appearance in the music video. [2] "Nwa Baby" was also released as one of the album's singles. Its music video was directed by Bobby Hai.

In April 2014, the NEA reviewing committee began collecting submissions for the 2014 edition. The deadline for submission was April 30, 2014, and the nominations were announced on May 29, 2014. Tiwa Savage and Davido received the most nominations with 5 each. Don Jazzy, Flavour N'abania and Wizkid all got four nominations each, while Olamide, Patoranking, Chidinma and Oritse Femi followed closely with three nominations.

Igbo highlife is a contemporary musical genre which combines highlife and Igbo traditional music. It first started off in the southeast region of Nigeria, during the 1920s. The genre is primarily guitar-based music, with a rare characteristic blend of horns and vocal rhythms. Igbo highlife lyrics are sung mostly in Igbo with occasional infusion of Pidgin English. One of the most influential composers and performers of the music is Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe whose career spanned over 40 years. Osadebe's discography comprises numerous popular songs including the 1984 hit "Osondi Owendi" which launched him on the world stage as a pioneer of the Igbo highlife genre.

Okechukwu Edwards Ukeje, better known by his stage name Mr Raw, is a rapper from Abia State in Southeastern Nigeria. He is a pioneer of Igbo rap, a genre that now appeals to a broad, mainstream audience.

Robert Clifton Brackins III is an American rapper, record producer, and songwriter. Born in Berkeley and raised in East Oakland, California, he is best known as a credited songwriter for the 2014 singles "2 On" by Tinashe and "Loyal" by Chris Brown. As a recording artist, he is known for his guest feature on Ray J's 2013 single "I Hit It First", which peaked at number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Okechukwu Oku, also known as Okey Oku and nicknamed "the Oracle", is a Nigerian film producer, director, cinematographer and occasional musician. He is best known for directing the movies Love and Oil (2014), Burning Bridges (2014) and Bambitious (2014) which featured Belinda Effah and Daniel K Daniel.
