N.E.O. (acronym for New Electronic Opus) is a Lithuanian electropop and pop music band of four guys formed in Kaunas in 2000. [1] At first the band's activities were irregular as its members were preoccupied with school. [2] In summer 2004, the band released its first radio single Aš tikiu (I Believe). [2]

In the national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2005 the band performed song You are in Hollywood, reached the final and was noticed. [1] It further released radio singles and at the end of 2005 compiled them into the debut album Tavo delne (In Your Palm), featuring eight radio singles and six other songs. [1] In February 2006, a televised concert at Forum Palace, which included appearances from Mango, Žas, and Mokinukės, presented the album to the public. [3] In 2006 national selection for Eurovision, N.E.O. performed Alright, which received jury's vote but placed only 7th after televote. [4] At the end of 2006, the band released its second album Akimirka (Moment). As a promotion, all four members signed all 10,000 copies of the initial run. [5] N.E.O. was nominated for 2007 Radiocentras Awards in categories Best Band and Best Song for Akimirka. [6] After 2006, N.E.O. became less active as its leader Tautkus was involved in Kelias į žvaigždes (music show on LNK) and other projects, [7] Kiltinavičius became part of a public love triangle, [8] and Lukoševičius lost his father. [9]

In December 2009, it was announced that long time member Tadas Lukoševičius was replaced by Martynas Beinaris, participant in Žvaigždžių vartai, a talent show on TV3. [10]

Mango is a popular Lithuanian girl trio. Created in 1998, it immediately had hits with the covers Pavasariniai žiedai and Svetimi (Strangers). During its ten-year career Mango released 12 albums that collectively sold some 310,000 copies. It was recognized as the Band of the Year by Radiocentras Awards and by Bravo Awards (2000).

In 2001 – 2009 and since 2019 Chošnau successfully develops solo career. He owns the 'Best Performer of the Year', 'Best Song', 'Best Video', 'Golden Disc' national awards. Chošnau is continuously named as one of the most played and most performing artists of Lithuania.

Žalgiris Arena

Žalgiris Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the New Town of Kaunas, Lithuania. The arena is located on an island of the Nemunas River. It is the largest indoor arena in the Baltics. The arena's maximum possible seating capacity for basketball games is 15,450, and 20,000 spectators for concerts. The Žalgiris Arena replaced the Kaunas Sports Hall as a major venue in the city.

The Roop Lithuanian pop band

The Roop are a Lithuanian pop rock band from Vilnius. Formed in 2014, the group consists of lead vocalist Vaidotas Valiukevičius, percussionist Robertas Baranauskas and guitarist Mantas Banišauskas. The group has released two albums—To Whom It May Concern in 2015 and Ghosts in 2017–as well as the extended play Yes, I Do in 2018. They were due to represent Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with their song "On Fire" before the contest was cancelled. They then took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with "Discoteque", finishing in eighth place in the final.

Monika Liubinaitė, known professionally as Monika Liu, is a Lithuanian singer-songwriter. She is set to represent Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy with the song "Sentimentai".
