The E-3000E3B is a diesel locomotive designed and built by National Railway Equipment Company for export to Australia.
Qube Logistics ordered 12 units in 2011. The first were delivered in December 2011 and the next seven in 2012. [1] [2]
Consolidated Rail Leasing has an unspecified number of units on order. Once they have been delivered to Australia, Consolidated Rail Leasing has stated on their website they will be numbered as the 1150s to tell them apart from QUBE'S 1100s. [3]
The White Pass and Yukon Route placed an order of 6 units, classed as E3000CC-DC in 2020. [4] The WPYR is now in the process of receiving them. [5]
