Nabhaan Rizwan (born 9 February 1997) [1] is a British actor known for crime drama Informer , his supporting roles in The Accident and 1917 , and the miniseries Station Eleven. [2] [3] More recently, he portrays Dionysus in the 2024 series Kaos. [4]
Rizwan is originally from Essex and now lives in London. [5]
Rizwan was born in Essex to Pakistani parents on 7 February 1997. Rizwan's mother, Shahnaz, was a child actress and also starred in the Indian soap opera Yeh Hai Mohabbatein as an adult in the role of Santosh "Toshi" Bhalla. His father was a playwright and his brother, Mawaan, is an actor, writer and comedian. [6] Rizwan and his family soon moved to London and he grew up in Ilford and was initially more interested in playing cricket than acting. [7] After completing A-Levels, he did youth work and acted in theatre groups. His audition for Informer was one of his first auditions. [1]

The series was released on Netflix on 29 August 2024. In October 2024, the series was cancelled after one season.
Juice is a British surreal comedy television series created by and starring Mawaan Rizwan for BBC Three. The series is based on Rizwan's 2018 Edinburgh Fringe show and began airing in September 2023. It follows Rizwan's character, Jamma, as he navigates work life and relationships with his family and boyfriend. Juice is based partially upon Rizwan's real life, though Rizwan has stated the show is "definitely fictional", and features his real-life mother and brother as his family in the show. Juice's notable features include its practical effects and "distinctive trippy visuals", as well as how it "explore[s] adult themes in a childlike way".
In Camera is a 2023 British drama film, written and directed by Naqqash Khalid, in his directorial debut. It stars Nabhaan Rizwan, Amir El-Masry and Rory Fleck Byrne.
Film Club is an upcoming BBC Three television series. It is written by Aimee Lou Wood and Ralph Davis who also appear in the series alongside Suranne Jones and Nabhaan Rizwan.
