Nadeesha Gayanthi Murukkuwadura (born 6 September 1984) is a Sri Lankan badminton player. [1] [2] [3] She was included in the national badminton team in 2006 and got the opportunity to represent Sri Lanka at the 2006 Asian Games competing in the women's singles and women's doubles events. [4]

Nadeesha Gayanthi also participated at the 2007 BWF World Championships representing Sri Lanka and competed in the women's doubles category pairing with Thilini Jayasinghe despite being knocked out of the first round. In 2008, she partnered Chandrika de Silva and emerged victorious in the women's doubles as a part of the Sri Lankan National Badminton Championships. Nadeesha Gayanthi also appeared for Sri Lanka at the 2014 Commonwealth Games by competing in the singles and doubles events. [5] [6]

Thilini Sudhara Jayasinghe is a Sri Lankan badminton player. Born in Peradeniya, Jayasinghe started playing badminton aged 9, and has joined the national team in 2000. She attended Mahamaya College and was named Best Sports Woman in 2004. In 2006 and 2010, she competed at the Asian and Commonwealth Games. Jayasinghe also competed for Sri Lanka at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics in the women's singles event. She is the first woman badminton player to have ever represented Sri Lanka at the Olympic Games.

Shinta Mulia Sari is an Indonesian-born Singaporean former badminton player. She represented Singapore in the 2012 Summer Olympics, in the women's doubles with Yao Lei. She and Yao reached the quarter-finals of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and were part of the Singaporean mixed team that won the bronze medal.

Pranaav Jerry Chopra is an Indian badminton player. He joined the India national badminton team in 2007. In the year 2018, at the Commonwealth Games held in Gold Coast, Queensland, he won the gold medal in mixed team as being a member of the Indian mixed team. Thilini Pramodika Hendahewa is a Sri Lankan badminton player. She competed at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China, also at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games. Hendahewa was the women' singles champion at the 2014 Sri Lanka national championships. She won her first senior international title at the 2017 Lagos International tournament in the women's singles and doubles event. Together with Kavidi Sirimannage, they claimed the gold medal in the 2019 South Asian Games. She became one of the first two Sri Lankans to win a BWF World Tour tournament, when she won the mixed doubles event alongside Sachin Dias at the 2022 Odisha Open.

Kavidi Ishadika Sirimannage is a Sri Lankan badminton player. In 2010, she won the mixed doubles title at the Sri Lanka Air Force Championships with Niluka Karunaratne. In 2015, she was crowned as the champion in the women's doubles, and the runner-up in the singles and mixed doubles. In 2016 she helped the Sri Lankan women's team win a silver medal at the South Asian Games, and also won a bronze in the singles and the mixed doubles event. She won the 2017 Summer Season Championships in the women's doubles event with Thilini Hendahewa, and was the runner-up in the singles. She won her first international title at the Lagos International tournament in the women's doubles event with Hendahewa. She competed at the 2017 Summer Universiade in Taipei, Taiwan, and at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.
