The Nancy Oldfield Trust is a waterway society, a charitable trust and a registered charity no. 1068549 in Norfolk, East Anglia, England, UK. [1]
The Trust is based at Neatishead on the Norfolk Broads and provides boating opportunities and water-based activities for disabled and disadvantaged people from anywhere in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1984 by Richard Kenyon in memory of his parents.
The Trust operates three motor cruisers, one of them electric, seven sailing yachts, and several canoes. The motor boats have wheelchair lifts, and hoists are available for all other boats.
There is also a residential centre, and "The Ark", a floating pontoon base on Barton Broad. Visitors can fish during the season, and many enjoy bird watching whilst on the boats.
The Trust offers courses and activities, run by Royal Yachting Association trained staff and 40 volunteers.
The Trust is a RYA Training Centre, and runs training courses in sailing throughout the year, which lead to RYA qualifications.

International Yacht Training Worldwide is an independent sailing and boating training organization which provides education and training standards for professional and recreational boaters and yachtsmen and women. It was originally based entirely in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA; it is now a British Columbia, Canada Corporation based in Kelowna. Its qualifications are similar to those of the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) at the recreational level, but IYT Worldwide also offers additional courses at the professional level. UKSA in Cowes is a youth charity offering professional maritime training opportunities, youth development programs and school/ group residential trips. The RS Venture launched by RS Sailing in 2011 is a large, modern GRP dinghy. The design concept was to deliver a large multi-role dinghy suitable for cruising, training or even club racing, in response to growing demand from training centres, private customers and international RS dealers. The RS Venture can take a maximum capacity of 8 crew, however can also be sailed by just 2 making it popular with RYA training schools as well as racing and cruising families. The RS Venture can be purchased from any RS dealer around the world and in 2013 has won Sailing World's Boat of the Year accolade.

Premier’s marinas are situated on the south coast at Falmouth in Cornwall; Noss on Dart in Dartmouth; Swanwick, Universal Marina, on the hamble, Gosport, Port Solent and Southsea in Hampshire; and Chichester, Brighton and Eastbourne in Sussex. Premier Marinas’ core business is the ownership, management and development of these marina sites, including the provision of wet and dry berthing and boatyard services to leisure yachts and motorboats. The company hosts boat shows, including an annual boat show that has been occurring for over thirty years.
The Day Skipper qualification confirms that the successful candidate has the knowledge needed to skipper a yacht on shorter, coastal cruises during daylight. The Royal Yachting Association administers the qualification, although most of the training is carried out by private companies.
