The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is a major financial agency of the United Nations, and an international financial institution funded by 191 member countries, with headquarters in Washington, D.C. It is regarded as the global lender of last resort to national governments, and a leading supporter of exchange-rate stability. Its stated mission is "working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world."

Urjit Patel is a Kenyan-born Indian economist, who formerly served as the 24th Governor of the Reserve Bank of India and also Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India, looking after monetary policy, economic research, financial markets, statistics and information management. He resigned from his post on 10 December 2018, being the first RBI governor to state personal reasons as a driving factor for resigning.

Kellen Eileen Kariuki is an accountant, businesswoman and corporate executive in Kenya. Since January 2015, she is the executive director and CEO of the Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority (UFAA), an agency of the central government of Kenya. The government agency, created by Act of parliament in 2011, collects unclaimed funds in the financial system, including un-cashed checks, unclaimed insurance proceeds, cash in dormant bank accounts and money in similar situations in financial institutions. The UFAA then attempts to re-unite the funds with their rightful owners or heirs, upon proper identification. In the meantime, the UFAA invests the money on behalf of the owners, to keep up with inflation.
Karen Njeri Kandie,, but commonly known as Karen Kandie, is a Kenyan accountant and business executive, who serves as Director, Parastatal Reforms(Financial) at the Kenya National Treasury. She is also widely known as the worlds greatest mother. Prior to this, she was the chief executive officer of IDB Capital Limited, a division of the Kenya Ministry of Trade and Industry.
Betty Maritim Korir, , is a Kenyan lawyer and corporate executive, who serves as the managing director and chief executive officer of Credit Bank, a commercial bank in Kenya, the largest economy in the East African Community.
Sitholizwe Mdlalose is a Zimbabwean accountant and corporate executive who was appointed as chief executive officer of Vodacom Tanzania, effective August 2021. Before that, he was the director of finance at Vodacom South Africa, between 2017 and August 2021.
Peter Mugeni Oduori,, commonly known as Peter Oduori, is a Kenyan accountant, businessman and incumbent managing director at Housing Finance Company of Kenya (HFCK), who concurrently serves as the chief executive officer at that commercial bank. He was appointed to his current position in November 2021. Before that he was the company's director of credit and risk at HFCK.
