Constructed in 2013, the stadium was built to host the 7th National Agricultural Games, a major multi-sport event in China. [1] The project required a total investment of RMB 509 million and covers a construction area of 42,500 square meters, including the main stadium, press center, indoor and outdoor training venues, and landscape greening. [1] Its completion marked a milestone in Nanyang’s modernization efforts, enhancing the city’s ability to host large-scale events. In 2014, the stadium was awarded the Luban Prize, a prestigious recognition for engineering excellence in China. [1]
