Naomi(e) Too is a Kenyan volleyball player in the Kenya women's national volleyball team.

Life

Too played with the Kenya Pipeline team where she played with Gaudencia Makokha. In 2015 the two of them represented Kenya in Morocco at beach volleyball. They beat Mozambique and Nigeria to get to the final but they were beaten by Egypt and they gained the silver medal. It was the first medal for Kenya at the 2015 African Games in Rabat, Morocco. [1]

In 2017 she and her then volleyball partner, Gaudencia Makokha, won a beach volleyball match and gained $3,400 in prize money. [2]

Too was injured and she could not make the Olympic trials. [3] Kenya's beach volleyball coach Sammy Mulinge invited Too to the Olympic training although he was concerned be her injury. [4] Too was not included when the volleyball players names for the Olympics were revealed on 26 June 2021. [5] Brackcides Khadambi was called to pair up with Gaudencia Makokha to replace Too and she and Gaudencia Makokha made up Kenya's beach volleyball team in Tokyo.

In 2022 she was paired with Veronica Adhiambo for the Commonwealth Games qualifiers in Accra, Ghana. They took the bronze medal but missed out on a place at the games. [6]

Kenya Pipeline were in Tunisia in May 2023 where they came second to Zamalek from Egypt in the CAVB Womens Volleyball Club Championships. Naomi Too was given the Best Opposite Player award. [7]

In 2023 Too and teammate Gaudencia Makokha were being tipped as the best chance that Kenya had at winning a gold medal at the Paris Olympics. [8] After training at Flamingo beach hotel in Mombasa in June 2024 the Kenyan coach, Salome Wanjala, chose them to compete in Morocco where the winners would gain an automatic ticket to compete at the Olympics in Paris. Jane Wacu Wairimu is a Kenyan volleyball player. She is part of the Kenya women's national volleyball team as a setter. She participated at the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship, and at the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup. She played with VBC Chamalières.

Brackcides Agala Khadambi is a Kenyan female volleyball player. She was captain of the Kenya women's national volleyball team and she competed in beach volleyball at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Gaudencia Makokha is a Kenyan female volleyball player. She was part of the Kenya women's national volleyball team playing beach volleyball at the postponed 2020 Summer Olympics.

Yvonne Wavinga is a Kenyan volleyball player who plays for Kenya Prisons. She has played for Kenya's U23's and helped qualify Kenya women's national volleyball team for the beach volleyball tournament at the postponed 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, having never participated previously.

Phosca Nekesa Kasisi is a Kenyan female volleyball player who plays for Kenya Commercial Bank. She is in the Kenya women's national volleyball team as captain of the beach volleyball team at the postponed 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Kenya has never had a beach volleyball team at the Olympics.
