Nasir Mahmood Khosa is a retired Pakistani civil servant from Dera Ghazi Khan who belonged to the Pakistan Administrative Service and served in BPS-22 grade,the highest attainable rank for a serving officer. He was promoted to the rank of Federal Secretary in 2010. [1]
Khosa has an outstanding civil service record,having held the most coveted bureaucratic assignments in the country. He served as the 22nd Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of Pakistan,as well as the administrative boss of two provinces as Chief Secretary Punjab and Chief Secretary Balochistan. Khosa also served as executive director at the World Bank from 2013-2017. [2]
Khosa is the brother of former Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa and Tariq Khosa,former director general of the Federal Investigation Agency. He is also the maternal cousin of former Governor Punjab Latif Khosa. [3]
On 28 May 2018,Khosa was nominated to become the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab ahead of the 2018 general elections. [4] He was nominated by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to which Shehbaz Sharif agreed but PTI withdrew his name on 30 May 2018, [5] followed by Khosa opting out and excusing himself from assuming the responsibilities of caretaker chief minister. Ijaz Ahmed Shah is a Pakistani politician,former officer of the Pakistan Army,and a former Pakistan Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) officer. He was serving as the Federal Minister for Narcotics Control,was in office since 11 December 2020. Previously,he served as the Federal Minister for interior from April 2019 to 11 December 2020 and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs from March 2019 to April 2019. Grade 22 is the highest attainable rank for a Civil Servant in Pakistan. Grade 22 is equal to a 4-star rank of the Pakistan Armed Forces. With over five hundred thousand civil servants and bureaucrats in Pakistan,only a few dozen officers serve in BPS-22 grade at a given time. Hence,not even 1% of the country's civil servants and/or bureaucrats make it to the highest rank. Officers serving in BPS-22 grade are largely considered to be the most influential individuals in the country.

Kamran Lashari is a Pakistani retired civil servant of the Pakistan Administrative Service who served in BPS-22 grade at the top bureaucratic offices including as Petroleum Secretary of Pakistan and Chief Secretary Sindh. Lashari is best known for his five-year stint as chairman of the Capital Development Authority during the government of Pervez Musharraf.
