"Natsu No Daisankakkei" is the tenth single by the Japanese rock band Nico Touches the Walls, released on May 16, 2012.
Nico Touches the Walls is a Japanese rock band formed in 2004. The band members are: Mitsumura Tatsuya, Sakakura Shingo, Furumura Daisuke & Tsushima Shotaro. In the same year, they won the Lotte Prize at the Yamaha Teen Music Festival. Rising quickly, they signed to "Senha & Co." before signing to Sony Music Japan's Ki/oon Records in 2007. Their debut single, in a major label, "Yoru no Hate", was released in February 2008.
"Natsu no Daisankakkei" is a summer love song featured on the 2012 Calpis Water commercial. [1] For its coupling track, the single includes a new song written and composed by Furumura Daisuke called "Yudachi March". It also contains a cover of Shizuko Kasagi's "Rappa to Musume", the band's first cover song to be featured on a single.
Shizuko Kasagi was a popular Japanese jazz singer and actress. At the peak of her fame in the immediate post-war era, she was known as the "Queen of the Boogie-Woogie".
The single comes in three versions: CD only, CD+DVD and a special pack. Makuhari Messe (幕張メッセ) is a Japanese convention center outside Tokyo, located in the Mihama-ku ward of Chiba city, in the northwest corner of Chiba prefecture.
