Navene Koperweis (born May 31, 1985) is an American drummer, best known as the former drummer of Animosity, Hoods and Animals as Leaders. [1] He currently plays for Entheos, and serves as session drummer for Job for a Cowboy and also Machine Head. [2]

Contents

Koperweis started drumming when he was eleven years old. He has played for The Faceless, and runs his technical death metal project, Fleshwrought, where he plays all instruments. [3] [4] He is also a dubstep/electronica producer, [5] and has released an electronic EP, Human Design, under the name Navene K. [6]

His influences include Tim Alexander, Joey Jordison, Kevin Talley, John Longstreth, Terry Bozzio, Skrillex, Noisia, and Deadmau5. [6] [7]

Evan Brewer is an American musician from Nashville, Tennessee. He is the current bassist of Entheos and Fallujah and formerly played bass for The Faceless. He has also been involved in other bands such as Reflux and the last bassist to be a part of Animosity. He also released two solo albums under his own name. In 2011, he released his debut solo album titled Alone, and his second solo album, Your Itinerary, was released on July 16, 2013.

Of Kingdom and Crown is the tenth studio album by American heavy metal band Machine Head, released on August 26, 2022, through Nuclear Blast and Imperium Recordings. It is the band's only album to feature guitarist Wacław Kiełtyka, who joined the band in late 2019, and left in early 2024. Matt Alston, who joined the band at the same time, does not play on the album; instead, drum duties are handled by Navene Koperweis, who acted as a session drummer for the album. The band's first concept album, Of Kingdom and Crown is set in a futuristic wasteland and revolves around two characters, Ares and Eros, who both go on their own respective killing sprees following the death of their loved ones.
