Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is a public research university in Nottingham, England. Its roots go back to 1843 with the establishment of the Nottingham Government School of Design, which still exists within the university today. It is the sixth largest university in the UK with 35,785 students split over five different campuses in Nottingham. The university is set to open a new campus in London.

Robert Del Naja, also known as 3D, is a British artist, musician, singer and songwriter. His mother is English and his father is Italian. They moved to Bristol, St Andrews in 1966. Robert del Naja emerged as a graffiti artist and member of the Bristol collective the Wild Bunch, and later as a founding member and sole consistent member of the band Massive Attack, with which he is still active. In 2009, he received the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music.

Monkey Day is an unofficial international holiday celebrated on December 14. The holiday was created and popularized in 2000 by controversial artists Casey Sorrow and Eric Millikin when they were art students at Michigan State University. Monkey Day celebrates monkeys and "all things simian", including other non-human primates such as apes, tarsiers, and lemurs. Monkey Day is celebrated worldwide and often also known as World Monkey Day and International Monkey Day.

He is best known for being the first person in the world with an antenna implanted in his skull. Since 2004, international media has described him as the world's first legally recognised cyborg and as the world's first cyborg artist. His antenna sends audible vibrations through his skull to report information to him. This includes measurements of electromagnetic radiation, phone calls, and music, as well as videos or images which are translated into audible vibrations. His WiFi-enabled antenna also allows him to receive signals and data from satellites.
Clean Bandit are an English electronic music group, formed in Cambridge in 2008. They have had four number 1 hits and ten top 10 hits on the UK Singles Chart. They direct and produce their own music videos, many of which have been nominated for Brit Awards and VMAs, while two of them, "Symphony" and "Rockabye", each have over 1 billion views on YouTube, with Rockabye having reached over 2.7 billion views. The group currently consists of founder Grace Chatto and brothers Jack and Luke Patterson. Jack Patterson is the principal songwriter and has been awarded two Ivor Novellos for the writing of "Rather Be". Many of their projects are known for blending elements of both classical and dance music, and featuring guest vocalists. Beatie Wolfe is an Anglo-American award-winning, conceptual artist and musician described as a "musical weirdo and visionary" known for seeing music differently and creating new formats for music and art in the digital era. These projects include a space broadcast via the Holmdel Horn Antenna, the world's first 360° AR live-stream, and a dynamic visualization of 800,000 years of climate data charting rising CO2 levels. Wolfe's work has been featured internationally at 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, the Nobel Prize Summit, the Victoria and Albert Museum, The New York Times Climate Summit, the London Design Biennale, Somerset House, the Rauschenberg Gallery, South by Southwest, and the Barbican Centre. Wired selected Wolfe as one of 22 changing the world, she is a winner of Webby Awards inaugural Anthem Awards, and UN Women chose Wolfe as one of nine innovators for a global campaign for International Women's Day. Wolfe is also the co-founder of a "profound" research project looking at the Power of Music for people living with dementia. The artist has collaborated with experimental artists Brian Eno, Mark Mothersbaugh, Allee Willis and producer Linda Perry amongst others.
Girl with Balloon is a series of stencil murals around London by the graffiti artist Banksy, started in 2002. They depict a young girl with her hand extended toward a red heart-shaped balloon carried away by the wind. The locations for this work include street murals in Shoreditch and the South bank in London on the Waterloo Bridge and other murals were around London, though none remain there.
