St. Thomas Aquinas High School (STA) is a private, Catholic co-educational high school located in Louisville, Ohio, United States, run by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown. It was founded in 1964 to serve the Catholic families of eastern Stark County and parts of Portage County. When it opened, Aquinas enrolled both male and female students, but was a single-sex educational institution, as boys and girls attended classes within separate wings of the school. STA began practicing its current co-educational format in 1970.

South High School is a public high school located on the south side of Columbus, Ohio. It was opened in 1900 as the fourth Columbus City Schools high school at 345 Deshler Avenue. The current building was opened March 31, 1924. The Charles S. Barrett Building at 345 E. Deshler Ave opened September 1900. Prior to that in 1895-1897 South High School utilized part of the Ohio Avenue Elementary School. In 1897 it was decided that the building was too far east for its name; the south side students were returned to the Central High School building at 6th & Broad Streets, and the building process began on the Deshler Street Building. It was known as South Urban Academy for a short time. The school is located at 1160 Ann Street.

The original building opened in 1961 and consisted of two floors of 22 classrooms and an Art and Shop Wing with three classrooms. In 1999 a science wing consisting of three rooms was opened and in 2004 a band room, weight room, trainer's office, and wrestling room were added. The original building covers a total area of 95,695 sq. ft. and cost $1,237,000 total to construct.

Most of the founding schools came from the defunct Huron-Erie League.
