News Stream was a global news program on CNN International aired as a weekday prime time show for Asian audiences. [1] The program was filmed in Hong Kong and anchored by Kristie Lu Stout. From 9PM to 10PM HKT (UTC+8:00), it covered Asia's increasing influence in business and politics to technology and culture. The program was simulcast on ViuTVsix in Hong Kong, but in a half-hour format.
The program lasted nine years, ending due to budget cuts in June 2019. This resulted in CNN's Hong Kong bureau not producing any daily programming for the first time since its inauguration in the 1990s. Lu Stout moved on to feature programs, reporting, and occasionally filling in for Rosemary Church and Max Foster on CNN Newsroom. [2]

Cash Flow was a television business news program on CNBC Asia. It was produced by CNBC Asia from Singapore by a team of journalists and aired each weekday at 10:00 am Singapore/Hong Kong/Taiwan time. It was broadcast live from CNBC Asia's studio in Sydney and presented by Oriel Morrison and at Hong Kong's studio presented by Bernard Lo for the first hour. It was originally presented by Maura Fogarty for the first hour and Amanda Drury for the second hour and was broadcast live from Singapore. During its first few years, the program was hosted by CNN Hong Kong anchor Patricia Chew, and included reports from CNN correspondents throughout Asia.
