News plus, stylized as News+, was an evening Filipino newscast on S+A which was aired from January 20 to December 26, 2014, replacing Iba-Balita . [2] The program was anchored by Anthony Taberna, with Jef Gaitan joining as the show's showbiz segment host. [3] [4]
The program deviated from traditional news programs by providing an in-depth views of daily news and events. [5]
By the end of 2014, however, the program was cancelled on December 26 (six days before New Year's Day celebration) as the station makes its transition into a fully fledged sports channel, leaving the hourly update Fastbreak as the only remaining source of news for S+A. Fastbreak continued until January 29, 2017, when it was also cancelled in favor of additional sports coverages.

The World Tonight is a Philippine television English-language late-night newscast broadcast by Kapamilya Channel and ANC. It was formerly the English language late-night newscast of ABS-CBN from November 21, 1966, to September 22, 1972, and was originally anchored by Hal Bowie and Henry Halasan. Its most known anchor, however, was Angelo Castro Jr. who anchored the newscast from its revival in 1986 to 2009, with a short interval for a few weeks in 1999; Castro would return to the show on a few occasions in 2011. The program was ABS-CBN's longest-running morning show, along with GMA Network's Unang Hirit. Taberna, Cordero, Ariel Ureta, Amy Perez, Jorge Cariño, Tina Marasigan, Gretchen Ho, Jeff Canoy, Ariella Arida, and Kori Quintos served as the final hosts.

She finished the season as one of the top three in the finale episode of Survivor Philippines Palau. Gaitan later on became a semi regular in Party Pilipinas. she had a one-month stint on GMA's Dear Friend which she co-starred with Marvin Kiefer, Jennica Garcia and Carl Guevara.
Tropa Mo Ko Unli Spoof is a weekly gag show produced by the TV5 Entertainment Group and it is aired every Saturday at 7:00pm (PST) on TV5. The program aired from September 14, 2013 to July 4, 2015, replacing Lokomoko and Tropang Kulit and was replaced by LolaBasyang.com. Its format similar to Tropang Trumpo which has been aired from 1994 to 1999. The title is a merger between Tropang Trumpo and Lokomoko U, resulting in Ogie Alcasid's return/arrival to TV5.

In Metro Manila, Sports + Action broadcast terrestrially and through DTT through DWAC-TV, the frequency once used by the defunct national television network Studio 23 until its closure on January 16, 2014, with most of its UHF affiliate stations in the provinces owned by AMCARA Broadcasting Network. It began its operations on January 18, 2014, yet it did not become the company's sole channel for sports until the shutdown of subscription-based counterpart Balls by the end of 2015. Its simulcast high-definition channel was exclusively available on Sky Cable, Destiny Cable and Sky Direct since 2016, while its international feed carried worldwide through The Filipino Channel. Sports + Action's programming is composed primarily of sports coverage such as MPBL, ABL, UAAP, NCAA, Pinoy Pride fights, BVR, PVL and ONE Championship. The program line up of Sports + Action included other sports-related programming, news coverages and blocktimers. S+A broadcast Mondays to Saturdays from 5:00 am to 1:00 am and Sundays from 4:00 am to 1:00 am.
