The Score is a Philippine English-language sports news television program broadcast on ABS-CBN Sports and Action (S+A), debuting on January 20, 2014, just two days after the network began operating. [1] [2] The show premiered on January 20, 2014 and airs every Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 6:00 PM (PST). [3]

After 4 years of broadcasting in standard-definition television (480i, 4:3 SDTV) format, The Score has switched to high-definition television (1080i, 16:9 HDTV) format starting on April 2, 2018.

From May 5, 2020, the show has temporarily moved to Liga due to the temporary closure of ABS-CBN, which included as S+A is a free TV channel because of the cease and desist order of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), following the expiration of the network's 25-year franchise granted in 1995.

The show ended on July 22, 2020.

Anchors

The program's final anchor is Mico Halili, who started in 2018. Its former anchors are TJ Manotoc (2014–2018), who was reassigned to be the ABS-CBN News correspondent for North America (last March 2019, Manotoc promotes as ABS-CBN Bureau Chief for North America), and Anton Roxas (2018). Later on, Halili became a new Cignal TV's Creative Director for sports programmes on October 28, 2020.

Gretchen Ho serves as a segment host.

Balitang America was the flagship news program of TFC, produced by ABS-CBN International and ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs. The program, which was first hosted by Cara Subijano, had its debut as a weekly newscast covering the Filipino-American community on September 28, 2002. It was converted to a weeknight broadcast on May 7, 2007, and Gel Santos-Relos, an ABS-CBN News personality who had previously worked in the network's main office in the Philippines before moving to the US, took over as the host. Santos-Relos was succeeded as the newscast's anchor after she decided to retire by Ginger Conejero and TJ Manotoc. On July 16, 2021, the program came to an end, and TFC News Now North America took its place.

The World Tonight is a Philippine television English-language late-night newscast broadcast by Kapamilya Channel and ANC. It was formerly the English language late-night newscast of ABS-CBN from November 21, 1966, to September 22, 1972, and was originally anchored by Hal Bowie and Henry Halasan. Its most known anchor, however, was Angelo Castro Jr. who anchored the newscast from its revival in 1986 to 2009, with a short interval for a few weeks in 1999; Castro would return to the show on a few occasions in 2011. Other newscasters who presented The World Tonight include Loren Legarda, Tina Monzon-Palma, and Karen Davila.

In Metro Manila, Sports + Action broadcast terrestrially and through DTT through DWAC-TV, the frequency once used by the defunct national television network Studio 23 until its closure on January 16, 2014, with most of its UHF affiliate stations in the provinces owned by AMCARA Broadcasting Network. It began its operations on January 18, 2014, yet it did not become the company's sole channel for sports until the shutdown of subscription-based counterpart Balls by the end of 2015. Its simulcast high-definition channel was exclusively available on Sky Cable, Destiny Cable and Sky Direct since 2016, while its international feed carried worldwide through The Filipino Channel. @ANCAlerts is a social media news program of ABS-CBN News Channel in the Philippines which started from ANC’s influential Twitter account that has over 450,000 followers to date, aimed to keep viewers abreast of the hottest social media buzz, user-generated content, "Bayan Mo, iPatrol Mo" stories, and real time feedback from ANC viewers. It airs on weekdays at 5:00 p.m. and anchored by social media enthusiasts Lexi Schulze. It premiere on June 11, 2012. The show concluded on March 29, 2019.

ABS-CBN HD was a Philippine pay television channel, working as the high-definition feed of ABS-CBN. It was launched on October 3, 2015 initially on Sky Cable and Destiny Cable and later on iWant, Sky On Demand, and Sky Direct, broadcasting in 1080i at a frame rate of 50 fps or at 60fps. The network including its HD feed dissolved on May 5, 2020 at 7:52 pm following TV Patrol. It was replaced by Kapamilya Channel HD on June 13, 2020.
