Nick Kovalakides (born 1939/1940) ^{[2] [b]} is an American javelin thrower.

Life and career

Kovalakides was born in Princeton, New Jersey, ^[3] the son of Greek immigrants. ^[4] He attended Princeton High School, graduating in 1957. ^[5]

Kovalakides was an All-American for the Maryland Terrapins track and field team, finishing 5th in the javelin at the 1959 NCAA Track and Field Championships. ^[6]

Kovalakides competed at the 1963 Pan American Games, winning the silver medal in the men's javelin throw event. ^[7]
