Nicolai Remberg (born 19 June 2000) is a German professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Bundesliga side Holstein Kiel. [1]

Career

Remberg played for FC Eintracht Rheine as a youth. [2] He moved to Regionalliga West side Preußen Münster's youth in 2018. [3] At Preußen Münster, he became a part of the first-team squad in 2020, [3] subsequently establishing himself as an important player. [4] [5] [6] In April 2023 he helped Preußen Münster secure promotion to the 3. Liga. [3]

On 28 April 2023, shortly after Preußen Münster achieved promotion to the 3. Liga, Remberg's move to 2. Bundesliga club Holstein Kiel was announced. [3] He signed a contract until 2026 and will join Kiel ahead of the 2023–24 season. [3] The transfer fee to be paid to Preußen Münster was undisclosed. [3]
