Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol (born 8 April 1977) is a French politician,the current mayor of Rouen. [1]
Rouen is a city on the River Seine,in northern France. It is the prefecture of the region of Normandy and the department of Seine-Maritime. Formerly one of the largest and most prosperous cities of medieval Europe,the population of the metropolitan area is 702,945 (2018). People from Rouen are known as Rouennais.

The Statue of Napoleon in the Place du Général-de-Gaulle,Rouen,Normandy was erected in 1865. The equestrian statue was sculpted in bronze by Gabriel-Vital Dubray,and its pedestal was designed by Louis Desmarest. It stands in front of the city hall.
