Nicole Garcia (born 22 April 1946) is a French actress, film director and screenwriter. Her film Charlie Says was entered into the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. [1] Her film Going Away was screened in the Special Presentation section at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. [2] She was the president of the jury for the Caméra d'Or section of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. [3]
Her eldest son, Frédéric Bélier-Garcia, is a theatre director and writer. From her relationship with Jean Rochefort, she has a second son, the actor Pierre Rochefort.

Naomi Kawase is a Japanese film director. She was also known as Naomi Sento, with her former husband's surname. Many of her works have been documentaries, including Embracing, about her search for the father who abandoned her as a child, and Katatsumori, about the grandmother who raised her.

Léa Mysius is a French film director and screenwriter. In 2017, she made her feature directorial debut with the film Ava, which premiered at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival where it won the SACD Award. Her second feature film, The Five Devils, was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. As a screenwriter, Mysius has also collaborated with Arnaud Desplechin on Ismael's Ghosts (2017) and Oh Mercy! (2019), Jacques Audiard on Paris, 13th District (2021) and Claire Denis on Stars at Noon (2022).
