Night Swimming is the first EP released by New Zealand band, Young Lyre, released on 9 November 2012. The EP reached number fifteen on the Official New Zealand Music Chart one week after its release. [1]
The band started creating music in the college competing on Rockquest in New Zealand. After changing the band name from "Sons of Darragh" to "Oresund" to "The Frisk", they decided to settle on the name of "Young Lyre" in 2011. Featuring songs of their first years, the EP Night Swimming was officially released on 9 November 2012. One week after its release, the EP was the number fifteen on the Official New Zealand Music Chart. [1]
The first single and music video from the EP was "Make Light", released on 15 March 2012 and directed by Jordan Dodson. [2]

Hootie & the Blowfish is an American rock band formed in Columbia, South Carolina, in 1986. The band went on hiatus in 2008 until they announced plans for a full reunion tour in 2019 and released their first new studio album in fourteen years, Imperfect Circle.
Men Without Hats are a Canadian new wave and synth-pop band, originally from Montreal, Quebec. Their music is characterized by the baritone voice of their lead singer Ivan Doroschuk, as well as their elaborate use of synthesizers and electronic processing. They achieved their greatest popularity in the 1980s with "The Safety Dance", a worldwide top ten hit, and "Pop Goes the World". After a hiatus for most of the 1990s and 2000s, Doroschuk reformed the band in 2010, and released Love in the Age of War (2012). The group, based in Vancouver, has continued to perform, including tour dates announced in support of the release of two studio albums, Men Without Hats Again , in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
The Polyphonic Spree is an American choral rock band from Dallas, Texas that was formed in 2000 by singer/songwriter Tim DeLaughter. The band's pop and rock songs are augmented by a large vocal choir, and instruments such as flute, trumpet, french horn, trombone, violin, viola, cello, percussion, piano, guitars, bass, drums, electronic keyboards, and EWI.

Meeting at the University of Auckland, the band signed to Carpark Records in 2018, where they have released the albums Future Me Hates Me (2018), Jump Rope Gazers (2020), and Expert in a Dying Field (2022). They have toured internationally with Death Cab for Cutie, The National, and received praise from Rolling Stone and Pitchfork.
