Nikhil Gangta (born 1 September 1992) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Himachal Pradesh. [1] He made his first-class debut for Himachal Pradesh against Goa in 2012-13 Ranji Trophy on 15 December 2012. [2]
In July 2018,he was named in the squad for India Blue for the 2018–19 Duleep Trophy. [3] He scored a century in the final of the tournament,which India Blue went on to win,and he was named the man of the match. [4]
The Duleep Trophy,also known as IDFC First Bank Duleep trophy due to sponsorship reasons,is a domestic first-class cricket competition played in India. Named after Kumar Shri Duleepsinhji of Nawanagar,the competition was originally contested by teams representing geographical zones of India. From 2016–17 to 2019–20,it was contested by teams chosen by BCCI selectors but,after been cancelled for three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic,it was relaunched in 2023 with six zonal teams. South Zone won the 2022–23 tournament and are the current champions.
Ashok Dinda is a former Indian cricketer and as of 2021 a Member of the Legislative Assembly. Dinda is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and represents the Moyna constituency. He played cricket for Bengal and Goa in the Ranji Trophy and for a variety of Indian Premier League sides. He retired from all forms of cricket on 2 February 2021.

The top two teams from Group D progressed to the quarterfinals of the competition. The 2018–19 Duleep Trophy was the 57th season of the Duleep Trophy,a first-class cricket tournament in India,which took place in August and September 2018. India Red were the defending champions. All of the matches took place at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul. The BCCI's technical committee structured the tournament to have four teams from four Ranji Trophy Groups,similar to the 2002–03 Duleep Trophy,but on the day of team selections,the format of the previous season was retained.
The 2019–20 Duleep Trophy was the 58th season of the Duleep Trophy,a first-class cricket tournament in India. It took place in August and September 2019,starting the 2019–20 domestic cricket season in India. India Blue were the defending champions. Unlike the previous three seasons,the tournament was played as day games,played with a red ball. The final was initially announced as a day/night match with the pink ball. However,the final was changed and was played as a day game. The change was attributed due to players' preference.
The 2022–23 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was the fifteenth edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy,an annual Twenty20 tournament in India. Played from 11 October to 5 November 2022,it was contested by all 38 Ranji Trophy teams and won by Mumbai,who beat Himachal Pradesh by four wickets in the final to win their first title. The tournament was a part of the 2022–23 Indian domestic cricket season,which was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in August 2022. Tamil Nadu were the defending champions.
