The Nipawin Hawks are a Canadian junior "A" team based in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. They are members of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL). They play their home games at the Centennial Arena, which has a seating capacity of 1,500. The team colors are black and yellow.

Contents

The Hawks have won two SJHL championships (1990 and 2018). Nipawin won the 1990 ANAVET Cup, coached by Bob Lowes. [1]

The Swift Current Broncos were a Canadian Junior "A" ice hockey team based out of Swift Current, Saskatchewan that played in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League from 1974 to 1986. From 1983 to 1986, the team was known as the Swift Current Indians.

The 2012 Royal Bank Cup was the 42nd Junior "A" 2012 ice hockey National Championship for the Canadian Junior Hockey League. The 2012 Royal Bank Cup marked the 42nd consecutive year a national championship had been awarded to this skill level since the breakaway of Major Junior hockey in 1970.

The 2017–18 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League was the league's 50th Season.

The 2023–24 SJHL season was the 56th season of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. The league championship Canterra Seeds Cup was awarded to the Melfort Mustangs, who went on to take 2nd place in the 2024 Centennial Cup national championship tournament in Oakville, Ontario.

The 2022–23 SJHL season was the 55th season of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. The Battlefords North Stars won the league championship Canterra Seeds Cup and went on to the 2023 Centennial Cup national championship in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

The 2021–22 SJHL season was the 54th season of the SJHL. The Estevan Bruins were awarded the league championship Canalta Cup after defeating the Flin Flon Bombers in game 7 of the finals.
