The Saskatoon Blazers is a U18AAA ice hockey team from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. They are a member of the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League. They played their home games at the Agri-Twin Arena, but have since switched to playing at the Rod Hamm Memorial Arena.

The Lakehead Junior Hockey League is a Canadian Junior ice hockey league in Northwestern Ontario, sanctioned by Hockey Northwestern Ontario and Hockey Canada. An earlier edition of this league existed in the 1970s.

The Notre Dame Hounds are a junior "A" ice hockey team based in Wilcox, Saskatchewan, Canada. They are members of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL). The Hounds also had a junior "B" team that played in the South Saskatchewan Junior B Hockey League, but the team folded after the 2005–06 Season. The team plays its homes games in Duncan McNeill Arena, which has a seating capacity of 1,200. The team colours are red and white.
The Prince Albert Mintos are a Canadian ice hockey team that plays in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League (SMAAAHL). Their home rink is the Art Hauser Centre formerly Comuniplex. The Prince Albert Mintos won the Telus Cup and Western Canadian Regionals back to back years starting in the 2005–2006 season and 2006–2007 year. They won the Telus Cup and Western Canadian Regionals for the third time in 2013–2014 season.

Riley Armstrong is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and a former player. He is currently an assistant coach with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League. He played two games with the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL) as a forward during the 2008–09 season.
The Saskatchewan Male U18 'AAA' Hockey League (SMAAAHL), formerly the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League,) is a U-18 'AAA' ice hockey league, with teams based in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. It is the highest level of minor hockey in the province. Players in this league are 18 years of age or younger and often move on to play major junior hockey in the Western Hockey League or junior 'A' hockey in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League followed by college hockey in the United States. Several have eventually gone on to professional hockey careers in the National Hockey League or in Europe.
The 2012 Telus Cup was Canada's 34th annual national midget 'AAA' hockey championship played April 23–29, 2012 at Leduc, Alberta. The Red Deer Optimist Rebels completed an improbable comeback in the gold medal game, scoring four unanswered goals in the third period en route to 6-5 double overtime win over the Phénix du Collège Esther-Blondin. It was Red Deer's first gold medal after three previous silver medal finishes.
The 2005 Telus Cup was Canada's 27th annual national midget 'AAA' hockey championship, played April 18–24, 2005 at the Robert Guertin Arena in Gatineau, Quebec. The Saskatoon Contacts defeated the host L'Intrépide de Gatineau 4–1 in the gold medal game to win the national title. National Hockey League defencemen Luke Schenn and Eric Gryba were members of the Contacts' championship team.
The 2000 Air Canada Cup was Canada's 22nd annual national midget 'AAA' hockey championship, played April 24–30, 2000 at the Maurice Richard Arena in Montreal, Quebec. The championship game was an all-Quebec showdown as the Quebec champions Cantonniers de Magog shutout the host Collége Français de Montréal-Bourassa 6-0 in the gold medal game to win the national championship.
The 1999 Air Canada Cup was Canada's 21st annual national midget 'AAA' hockey championship, played April 19–25, 1999 at the Prince Albert Comuniplex in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The Regina Pat Canadians defeated the Calgary AAA Midget Flames in double overtime in the championship game to win the gold medal. The Gouverneurs de Ste-Foy from Quebec took home the bronze medal in their tenth Air Canada Cup appearance.
The 2013 Telus Cup was Canada's 35th annual national midget 'AAA' hockey championship, held April 22 – 28, 2013 at the Essar Centre in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The Red Deer Chiefs defeated the Ottawa Junior 67's in the gold medal game to win their second straight national title. The Rousseau Royal de Laval-Montréal won the bronze medal. This was Sault Ste. Marie's second time hosting the national championship – the 2003 Air Canada Cup was played at the old Sault Memorial Gardens.
The 2014 Telus Cup was Canada's 36th annual national midget 'AAA' hockey championship, played April 21 – 27, 2014 at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The Prince Albert Mintos defeated the Grenadiers de Châteauguay in the third overtime period of the gold medal game, which was the longest in Telus Cup history. It was the third national title for the Mintos. The Okanagan Rockets won the bronze medal game, becoming the first British Columbian team to win a medal since 1996.
The Saskatchewan Female U18 AAA Hockey League (SFU18AAAHL), formerly the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League, is a U-18 ice hockey league in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. The league operates under the supervision of the Hockey Saskatchewan and is the highest level of female minor hockey in the province.
Emily Clark is a Canadian ice hockey player for the Montréal section of the PWHPA and has competed for the Canadian national Under-18 team in 2011. She made her debut with the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2014 4 Nations Cup. In the autumn of 2014, she joined the Wisconsin Badgers women's ice hockey program. She also competed with the Canadian National team at the 2018 Winter Olympics where she helped Canada win a silver medal.
The 2016 Telus Cup was Canada's 38th annual national midget 'AAA' hockey championship, played April 18 – 24, 2016 at Quispamsis, New Brunswick. The North York Rangers defeated the host Saint John Vitos in the gold medal game, while the Lions du Lac du St-Louis won the bronze.
Sophie Shirley is a Canadian ice hockey player, currently playing with the Wisconsin Badgers women's ice hockey program. She was named to the Canada women's national ice hockey team roster that shall participate in a pair of games against the United States on December 13 and December 20, 2016. Said series against the US shall mark Shirley's debut with the national team.
The 2018 Esso Cup was Canada's tenth national women's midget hockey championship, contested April 22–28, 2018 at Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. This was the first time the championship has held in Nova Scotia. The St. Alberta Slash of Alberta defeated the Saskatoon Stars 2–1 in the gold medal game to defend their national title.
