Nizom Sangov (Tajik : Низом Сангов; born June 26, 1983, in Temurmalik, Khatlon) is a Tajikistani weightlifter. [1] Sangov represented Tajikistan at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's lightweight category (69 kg). Sangov placed twenty-fourth in this event, as he successfully lifted 115 kg in the single-motion snatch, and hoisted 135 kg in the two-part, shoulder-to-overhead clean and jerk, for a total of 250 kg. Nikolay Borislavov Gergov is an amateur Bulgarian Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's welterweight category. He defeated South Korea's Kim Min-Chul for a gold medal in the 66 kg division at the 2005 World Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary, in addition to his bronze from the 2007 World Wrestling Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. He is also a two-time Olympian, a double European wrestling champion, and a member of Slavia Litex Wrestling Club in Sofia, under his personal coach Bratan Tzenov. Because of his further successes in wrestling, Gergov was selected as one of eleven athletes for the Bulgarian Sports Personality Award in 2007.

Roman Aleksandrovich Konstantinov is a Russian weightlifter. He won the bronze medal for the 94 kg class at the 2006 World Weightlifting Championships in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and eventually claimed his first ever career title at the 2007 World Weightlifting Championships in Chiang Mai, Thailand, with a total of 397 kg. He also added a silver medal to his collection from the 2007 European Weightlifting Championships in Strasbourg, France.

Sitthisak Suphalak is a Thai weightlifter. He won the silver medal for the 69 kg class at the 2007 Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand, with a total of 299 kilograms.

Luis Miguel Pineda Madrid is a Colombian weightlifter. Pineda represented Colombia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's lightweight category (69 kg), along with his teammate Edwin Mosquera. Matthew Francis Beach is a New Zealand taekwondo practitioner of British origin. Eugen Bratan is a Moldovan weightlifter. He won a bronze medal for the 94 kg class at the 2007 European Weightlifting Championships in Strasbourg, France, with a total of 382 kg. He is also a brother of two-time Olympian Alexandru Bratan.
