No. 5 (Number 5) is the fifth album from the J-pop idol group Morning Musume, released on March 26, 2003. [1]
No. 5 is the last studio album to feature second generation member Kei Yasuda and first generation member Natsumi Abe as full members of the group. Yasuda graduated later in 2003, and Abe graduated in early 2004. It is also the first Morning Musume studio album to feature a former member as a returning guest artist, as Maki Goto guests on "Megami ~Mousse na Yasashisa~" and "Ganbacchae" (as well as appears on "Do It! Now", her last single as a member of the band).
Two of the songs, "Megami ~Mousse na Yasashisa~" and "Yes! Pocky Girls", are credited to two one-time Morning Musume spinoff groups, "Venus Mousse" and "Pocky Girls", respectively. The songs originated as promotional songs for Pocky biscuit snacks and appeared in versions that are least one minute shorter on the Petit Best 3 compilation album in December 2002. The first pressing came in special packaging with a photobook and a special mini poster.
Morning Musume '21, formerly simply Morning Musume and colloquially referred to as Momusu, are a Japanese female idol group, holding the second highest overall single sales on the Oricon charts as of February 2012, with the Oricon record of most top ten singles with an amount of 64, and they have sold over 21 million copies in Japan alone.
Kei Yasuda is a Japanese singer, musician and actress under the Up Front Agency's Hello! Project. She was a member and co-leader of the Japanese idol pop group Morning Musume. Yasuda, along with Mari Yaguchi and Sayaka Ichii, were the second generation of singers to be recruited into Morning Musume. Morning Musume had only released one official single, Morning Coffee, prior to their joining. Yasuda was also a member of Japanese pop idol group Dream Morning Musume.
Rika Ishikawa, is a Japanese actress and model associated with Hello! Project and best known as a former member of the pop group Morning Musume. She was the leader of the Japanese pop idol trio v-u-den until June 2008. She has performed as a solo singer, as a member of the Japanese pop idol group Ongaku Gatas, in the pop duo Hangry & Angry as Angry, and as a current member of Dream Morning Musume.
Ai Takahashi is a Japanese pop singer and actress who is formerly associated with the Hello! Project and is best known as the leader of Morning Musume and Hello! Project until 2011. She is also a former member of its popular subgroup Mini Moni.
W was a Japanese idol duo formed in 2004 by Up-Front Promotion and associated with Hello! Project. The members consisted of Nozomi Tsuji and Ai Kago, former fourth generation members of Morning Musume. The duo disbanded in 2007 following Kago's dismissal from their agency.
Natsumi Abe is a Japanese singer and actress, a former member of Morning Musume, and currently a member of Dream Morning Musume.
Best! Morning Musume 2 (ベスト!モーニング娘。2) is the second "best of" compilation from the Japanese female idol group Morning Musume and it was released March 31, 2004, selling a total of 180,897 copies. It contains ten of the A-sides released since the release of Best! Morning Musume 1 in 2002, including several cuts not previously available on any other Morning Musume album; one new song and one popular song from a single.
"Morning Coffee" (モーニングコーヒー) is a song by J-pop idol group Morning Musume, released as their first official single on January 28, 1998 as an 8 cm CD. It sold a total of 200,790 copies. In 2004, it was re-released as part of the Early Single Box and again in 2005 as a 12 cm CD. The lead vocalist of the single was Natsumi Abe.
"Furusato" is the sixth single of the J-pop idol group Morning Musume, released on July 14, 1999 as an 8 cm CD. It has sold over 170,670 copies and reached number five on the Oricon Charts. In 2004 it was re-released as part of the Early Single Box and again in 2005 as a 12 cm CD. The lead vocalist of this single was Natsumi Abe.
"Ren'ai Revolution 21" is Morning Musume's 11th single, and was released December 13, 2000. It sold a total of 986,040 copies and peaked at number two on the Oricon Charts. The lead vocals of this single are Natsumi Abe and Maki Goto. This single also marks the last with Yuko Nakazawa before she graduated from Morning Musume to pursue her solo career within the Hello! Project. The dance appeared in the PV and their live performance was choreographed by Natsu Mayumi.
"The Peace!" is the twelfth single of J-pop idol group Morning Musume and was released July 25, 2001. It sold a total of 682,320 copies and reached number one on the Oricon Charts. This song is also a personal favorite of ex-Morning Musume member, Rika Ishikawa, as the monologue spoken by her towards the end of the song became one of her favorite moments of being in Morning Musume.
"Koko ni Iruzee!" is the sixteenth single of J-pop idol group Morning Musume and was released October 30, 2002 under Zetima Records with the catalog number EPCE-5182.
Goto Maki Premium Best 1 is the first compilation album by solo singer and former Morning Musume and Petit Moni member Maki Goto.

"Yūjō " is the last single of the J-pop idol group Morning Musume subgroup Morning Musume Otomegumi. In addition to the title song and its karaoke version, the single also contains Morning Musume Otomegumi versions of the earlier Morning Musume songs "Say Yeah!: Motto Miracle Night" and "Summer Night Town". "Say Yeah!: Motto Miracle Night" was originally featured on the Best! Morning Musume 1 album and "Summer Night Town" was originally featured on the "Summer Night Town" single. Morning Musume Sakuragumi also released another version of "Say Yeah!: Motto Miracle Night" at the same time on the "Sakura Mankai" single.
Petit Moni were the second official subgroup of the Japanese pop idol group Morning Musume.
Morning Musume All Singles Complete: 10th Anniversary is a compilation of the first 34 singles from the Japanese female idol group Morning Musume, covering every A-side track from each of their singles since their major debut in 1997. It was released on October 24, 2007 in two editions; the normal edition contained only the two CDs, while the limited edition came with an alternative cover and a bonus DVD.
Erina Mano is a Japanese idol singer and actress formerly associated with Hello! Project. She joined in 2006 as a member of Hello Pro Egg, as a trainee. In 2007, she became a member of the Hello! Project futsal team Gatas Brilhantes H.P. and its musical group Ongaku Gatas. On March 29, 2008, she started a solo music career, working under the management and promotion of J.P Room. She continued with Hello! Project until 2013, and is now performing in solo music projects as well as acting in films and television.
Megumi Murakami is a Japanese choreographer and former singer and actress. She first gained recognition when she joined Hello! Project Kids and later became the lead vocalist of the girl group Cute until her retirement in 2006.
Koinu Dan no Monogatari, is a 2002 Japanese film directed by Shinichi Sawai, starring Hello! Project Kids, Morning Musume, and Maki Goto. The film was given a limited screening on December 14, 2002, where it was screened as a double-feature with Mini-Moni the Movie: Okashi na Daibōken!, a film starring other Hello! Project members.
