No Danger is the only full-length studio album released by indie rock band Inouk in 2004.
The band consisted of brothers Damon McMahon (vocals/guitar) of Amen Dunes and Alexander McMahon (vocals/guitars), as well as Ian Fenger (lead guitar), Jesse Johnson (bass) and Glen Brasile (drums).[ better source needed ] [1] [2]

Devon Powers of PopMatters said that the music was not easy listening: "the threads among and even within tracks weave an intricate tapestry of genres, influences, and subject matter. The risks they take give their songs a heroic tenor in a literal and figurative sense. Figurative because melodies are cast as brave charges over difficult terrain, and literal because thankfully, they defy categorization and, thankfully, it not only works but it also matters." [6] NME 's Simon Hayes Budgen described the band as "sounding like an offspring of the Go-Betweens and Talking Heads" and that "professionalism doesn't always have to mean workmanlike". [4] Peter Gaston of Spin described the record as "a bit like Led Zeppelin taken to finishing school". [7] Johnny Loftus of AllMusic said, "Like TV on the Radio, Inouk laps whatever genre it's slotted in, offering more ideas per song than most rock hopefuls have in their white leather belts... The album can meander, so it might not grab those in need of an immediate hooky fix. But as an album of dusty and dark, delicate and dramatic themes, No Danger is a force." [3] Uncut said that the album initially sounded like "a hilariously overcooked stew of wildly incompatible ingredients. But No Danger is rather a cogent and brilliantly wrought rewriting of the alt.rock rulebook." and concluded by calling the record "fabulously foolhardy stuff". [5]

Teenage Fanclub are a Scottish alternative rock band formed in Glasgow in 1989. The group were founded by Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley and Gerard Love, all of whom shared lead vocals and songwriting duties until Love's departure in 2018. As of 2023, the band's lineup consists of Blake, McGinley, Francis Macdonald, Dave McGowan and Euros Childs.

Laika Come Home is a remix album by British virtual band Gorillaz, released in July 2002. Unlike a typical remix album, it is done by just one group, Spacemonkeyz. It contains most of the songs from Gorillaz' first album, Gorillaz, but remixed in dub and reggae style. The album features Terry Hall, U Brown, Earl Sixteen and 2-D. One single, "Lil' Dub Chefin'", was released from the album on 22 July 2002, with moderate success. The limited edition was packed in digipak, featuring two hidden tracks. In 2004, the album was packaged with 2001's Gorillaz in a box set as part of EMI's "2CD Originals" collection. The album's title is a reference to Laika, the Soviet space dog, and the film Lassie Come Home. The album contains mixes of every song on the original album except "Double Bass", "Latin Simone ", and "Rock the House".
Kasabian is the debut studio album by British rock band Kasabian, released on 6 September 2004. The album's highest chart position on the UK Albums Chart was number 4, making it the band's only studio album not to reach number one. Five singles were released from the album.
Ambulance LTD was an indie rock group formed in Spanish Harlem, New York City in 2000. The band was founded by Michael Di Liberto and David Longstreth from Cleveland OH. Marcus Congleton joined about a year later and continued on with their name and ideas with other members. They signed to TVT Records after getting positive reviews from their live shows and recorded their debut album LP on March 23, 2004 in the US and March 14, 2005 in the UK and went on to sell more than 100,000 copies worldwide.

Damon McMahon is an American indie rock musician and the primary member of the musical project Amen Dunes. Originally from Philadelphia, he is currently based in Los Angeles.
The Good, the Bad & the Queen were an English art rock supergroup composed of singer Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz, bassist Paul Simonon of the Clash, guitarist Simon Tong of the Verve, and Fela Kuti drummer Tony Allen. They released their self-titled debut album in 2007. Their second album, Merrie Land, coproduced with Tony Visconti, was released in 2018. They disbanded in 2019, and Allen died in 2020.
