The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad, were an international multi-sport event in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
The men's field hockey tournament at the 1968 Summer Olympics was the 11th edition of the field hockey event for men at the Summer Olympics. It took place over a fourteen-day period beginning on 13 October, and culminated with the medal finals on 26 October. All games were played at the Municipal Stadium in Mexico City, Mexico.

She twice won a gold medal with the national team in 1996 and 2000; she also claimed the bronze at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.
Liana Mesa Luaces is a volleyball player from Cuba, who represented her native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. There she won the bronze medal with the national team in the women's team competition. Liana signed for volleyball club "Red Star" Belgrade, Serbia on 2 February 2009.

The Refugee Olympic Team competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016, as independent Olympic participants. In March 2016, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach declared that the IOC would choose five to ten refugees to compete at the Rio Olympics, in the context of the "worldwide refugee crisis", of which the European migrant crisis is a prominent part. The athletes competed under the Olympic Flag. Initially, they were labeled "Team of Refugee Olympic Athletes", with the IOC country code ROA, but this was updated to Refugee Olympic Team with the country code ROT.
The 1986 FIBA World Championship squads were the squads of the 1986 FIBA World Championship, which was held in Spain, between 5 and 20 July 1986. Each one of the 24 teams at the tournament selected a squad of 12 players, for a total of 288 players.
