Nodelandsheia is a village in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located in the hills a short distance to the northeast of the former municipal centre of Nodeland in former Songdalen municipality. The village is primarily residential, with most residents working in the nearby urban areas of Kristiansand and Søgne. The 0.5-square-kilometre (120-acre) village has a population (2015) of 1,330 which gives the village a population density of 2,660 inhabitants per square kilometre (6,900/sq mi). [1]

Songdalen is a former municipality in the old Vest-Agder county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1964 until 2020 when it was merged together with Søgne and Kristiansand municipalities to form a new, much larger Kristiansand municipality in what is now Agder county. It was located in the traditional district of Sørlandet, just outside of the city of Kristiansand. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Nodeland. The village is located in the upper Torridal valley along the river Otra, about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) north of the city of Kristiansand. The village itself extends for about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) along both sides of the river. The Norwegian National Road 9 passes through Mosby, about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) south of Vennesla. The Sørlandsbanen railway line passes through Vennesla, stopping at Vennesla Station. The lake Venneslafjorden is located on the river Otra in the northern part of the village of Vennesla.

Høvåg (village) Village in Southern Norway, Norway

Høvåg is a village in Lillesand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) southwest of the town of Lillesand and about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northeast of the city of Kristiansand. The village lies on the northern shore of the Kjerkekilen, a strait leading from the Blindleia to the Isefjorden. The village is the site of Høvåg Church and from 1865 until 1962, it was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Høvåg.
